I've tested it against a Naya aggro deck that's insane and it smeared it across the floor. Last week at FNM I went for a 3-2 taking 14th/32 people. Very rough competition locally but now that I added the splash of blue I think it will come in on top this week. Will keep ya updated!

Just rewatched the Avengers last night, Hulk is always awesome.

Good worm combo, i approve. Hope it happens often enough. Agree with the reverent hunter for the adephage. Or maybe a Prime Speaker Zegana since you're already splashing blue? Happy Brewing, God bless!

Worldspine Wurm on turn 3 and 4 happens so frequently it's unreal. Turn 2 I've had happen 2 times in game. And I like Prime Speaker Zegana but the double blue make's her unrealistic. Reverent Hunter s decent but usually when he becomes relevant he's no longer needed. His only purpose is when you have ton's of devotion. When I have tons of devotion my Polukranos, World Eater , Arbor Colossus or Worldspine Wurm are in the process of eating the opponent's face off. Therefor I decided to keep the Giant Adephage simply because if I can't Garruk, Caller of Beasts then it's an easy devotion dropper.
Hope everyone continues to give input and comment! Feedback is loved!!!! +1's are as well

In your play scneario you only need 2x BTE because that gets you five mana from Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx +1 mana from Elvish Mystic .
November 20, 2013 1:23 p.m.
But you also have to tap the Elvish Mystic and the forest to get out the BTE's so you only have the Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx open.

So 3x Burning-Tree Emissary are needed unless it's turn 3.

So how about miscutter hydra instead of the adephage/hunter? Seems like you have a ton of mana bro, why not give it to a haste creature, that kills blue mages like me? Good brew bro.

I've run it a few times but the truth is I think adephage poses a larger threat just because of his ability to duplicate himself. And tyvm :)

why do you have a golgari charm in the sideboard? you have no way to pay for it
November 21, 2013 1:52 p.m.
Because Sylvan Caryatid can act as any mana my friend. And she hits on turn two nearly every single game. Therefor turn 3 I can cast any creature I please and turn 4 Golgari Charm says sucks to be the kid casting Supreme Verdict

I threw in an extra 2 Overgrown Tomb in place of 2x Temple of Mystery just because it's better to play it safe :) thanks gododoom9

I would drop 2 breeding pool instead of the temples just because its better to scry than shock yourself yes they slow you down a bit but usually it's worth it. With the caryatid and the other ramp you have I don't think you'll be short on blue mana to cast the few blue cards your running

I definitely prefer the shock. This deck is meant to be aggro. I can dig with Garruk, Caller of Beasts . Scry is nice and all but if I get it midgame it has lost its value. I prefer speed early and late game.
