Dovie'andi se tovya sagain... for any of you familiar with the Wheel of Time series... in the Old Tongue this translates to "It's time to toss the dice." For all intents and purposes this deck is exactly that. Group Hug looks to accelerate everyone at the table. This deck specifically aims to give everyone insane card advantage and the ability to play much of it for free.

As such, each game definitely is a toss of the dice. Firstly, who will benefit most from all the card advantage (I'm betting it will be me). Secondly, how crazy is the board state going to get? Let's toss the dice and find out!

My aim is to Group Hug quickly with Braids on the board. At worst I can land ramp with her and at best drop Eldrazi! One of the things I actually like is I don't initially benefit from the Eldrazi off of a Braids trigger (i.e. not cast), so it gives my opponents a chance to respond.

After establishing a solid board state I am looking to disrupt my opponents by copying or stealing whatever fun things they are dropping with Braids. And if things get too out of hand I run a small control suite (i.e. Delay , Desertion, Evacuation, Wash Out, Tidespout Tyrant, etc.).

I have cards like Thought Vessel and Reliquary Tower to maximize my card advantage. I also have several recycle effects (Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre, Time Spiral, and Elixir of Immortality) so I can reuse all of my goodies.

I'd definitely be hesitant to run this deck in a combo heavy meta. However, anywhere else and it's a blast to play. If Eldrazi aren't your thing you could switch out with Darksteel Colossus and other (slightly) less scary threats.
