Maybeboard

My attempt to make the most competitive EDH deck I could which employs my two favorite parts of magic, grindy control decks and lands based strategies.

The core parts of the deck which give it a more landcentric focused compared to the standard 4C rashmi lists are what remain after playtesting. Initially more land synergistic cards were included in the list such as, orcish lumberjack, azusa, crucible of worlds, and summer bloom.

There are two ways to make infinite mana in the deck. One is worldgorger dragon combo and the other is the dockside extortionist combo.

The deck uses infinite mana with thrasios to draw deck and repeatedly cast punishing fire through twister loops for the win. If either time twister or punishing fire has been exiled or if you just want to stay true to the theme of the deck, you can also win with infinite mana using loam, tranquil thicket/barren moor, and Glint-Horn Buccaneer .Cycle thicket for damage with glint-horn, return thicket with loam, dredge off of thrasios draw to return loam, cast loam to return cycle land, and repeat.

The deck can also deal damage equal to the number of cards in your library off of Glint-Horn if enchanted with a curiosity effect if you go to your end step with greater than your max hand size. Loam can help us get to greater than our hand size by filling our hand with lands. Additionally, if Loam is not exiled, we can cause infinite damage by discarding loam at end step to get to hand size, then dredging with the draw trigger to return loam to repeat.

The decks primary line to victory is either directly to the aforementioned worldgorger combo for infinite mana or using razaketh to assemble one of the aforementioned combos. The worldgorger combo lets us combo off from little to no board presence with very little resources and is best suited in a deck packed full of interaction to protect the combo (autumns veil is best here to protect from blowouts via abrupt decay). Razaketh lets us choose which combo is best based on the opponents board state (if dockside line is viable) or lets us go for worldgorger combo with tutored protection. Both lines were chosen to require the smallest deck building constraints, least amount of dead slots, and least required resources while going for the reanimator route is supported by our decks value loam plan (loam in yard turns a topdeck tutor such as vamp or worldly tutor into an entomb.

Notable Lines/Interactions:

With loam and a cycle land we can still draw most of our deck with infinite mana. First mill deck by iterating through cycle, dredge, loam repeat until second cycle land is hit. With two cycle lands we can draw/mill our deck. There is a chance we don't draw the correct cards though since we are forced to mill 3 + draw 1 for each loop.

With Barrin, Master Wizard and Gilded Drake we have a repeatable creature removal engine by sacrificing whatever we steal with drake to then bounce the drake back to our hand and repeat.
