What is Polymorph?

Polymorph is the name-giving card for our chosen theme. We are polymorphing our own (small) creatures into Fatties out of our library. The best thing about this tactic is, that we will (unlike in reanimator-styled decks) ALWAYS find a creature in our library! That's the reason why we only play like five creatures in here.

Why those commanders?

Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh: I'm sorry for this poor boy, he is just free food for our polymorph-spells.

Sakashima of a Thousand Faces: Saka copies our fatties for 4cmc - even the legendaries!

Tactics:

What's a good start?

Our starting hand should have like

• 2-3 lands
• 1-2 ramp-spells
• 1-2 card-draws
• 1 Polymorph-Spell - this is actually the most important thing!!
• 1-3 other cards (enabler, protection, removal, stealy stuff..)

Like this we should always be able to polymorph on round 2-5!

Big creature business

Our fatties:

Utvara Hellkite: Best man to find. We can generate a lot of dragons with our copy-spells

Ancient Silver Dragon: Big Card draw. Removed Consecrated Sphinx for our dragon-styled polymorph

Agent of Treachery: Good dude to find - steals not only a creature but any permanent. Good thing about Agent is that we can polymorph him again into another fattie!

Hullbreaker Horror: Since we got a lot of small spells in our deck this dude is an absolute must-have in here!

Drakuseth, Maw of Flames: Very solid body, nice removal.

Astral Dragon: Wanna have 2 additional sol rings? 2 additional rhystics? No problem - Astral Dragon is bonkers! FYI: He goes infinite with Cursed Mirror.

Plan B:

The Problem with this deck is about getting our fatties removed before impact. For that reason I made a Plan B - steal the good stuff from our enemies!

We can

• steal creatures with Treachery, Role Reversal or Sudden Substitution
• copy a biggie from our opponents with Rite of Replication or Cursed Mirror
