This is the deck I will be taking to dragons of tarkir game day, it is a cmc cheap, effective and consistant deck with synergies running throughout. The basis being built around purphoros's etb ability and exploiting the new cards from dragons to devastating effect. In the current meta game climate where the range of azban decks, jeskai tokens, sidisi vizier, RG monsters are predominant, I believe it to be the optimal time to utilise purphoros before the card rotates, the effective removal of this card in current decks will be scarce, cards such as utter end and erase most likely have to be sideboarded against our threat. Once purphoros sticks on the board the game is most likely won, a 5 mana secure the wastes, hordeling outburst or rabble that's manages to stay past turn 4 is generally enough to seal the game. The deck also has a few tricks that generally can take game one and catch the opponent off guard. A flamewake PhoenixTurn 3 followed by Purph on 4 then dashing Mardu scout to activate him totals for a massive 12 damage on turn 5 ending the game. The great thing about the deck is its consistency you can play pretty much any basic 2-3 mana hand and the deck will almost play itself. If you flood, cards such as secure the wastes and craters claws become stronger and can end the game out of no where. After taking game one and the cats out of the bag, watch if the opponent sideboards, if they do they will either generally side in enchantment removal for our God and you can expect cards such as bile blight, drown in sorrow etc to come in, if you have a feeling based on game 1 that this might be the case it's time to go to plan b. Remove purphoros and some of the token generation secure the wastes, dragon fodder and add the 3 thunderbreak regents and burn package of draconic roar, lightning strike, game 2 you will see less hard removal, and less hand disruption. This time aim of the game is to burn them out. Game 3 you then decide based on there deck reaction and sideboard preferences if you want to switch back to the token burn mechanic or stick with the dragons.

Just a reminder that this deck is built for a single purpose winning dragons game day based on current meta. I would advise that if you want to take this deck for gameday, don't test it out at fnm just practice with a friend, the real impact will be in its surprise factor on the day. Good luck!
