A Dralnu, lich lord deck that buries target player(s) under massive card advantage and crushes their hopes and dreams under a wave of demons(with very few 'staples').

The deck operates by basically crushing the offence of any creature-based deck it encounters and disrupting the combo players long enough for its own finishers to quickly grind out your opponent.A regular game of dralnu starts with just playing out land after land per turn and clearing any early threats with an assortment of wrath-like effects and point removal for the bigger threats. It also plays a couple of creatures that are excellent blockers, like the vampire nighthawk and the dream fighter, and also some good disruption creatures, like the glen elendra archmage and the soratami savant. The early goal is to just play one land per turn, since I'm not running any mana artifacts(since I nuke those, and I need stable mana sources).

The suite of counterspells usually are there to stop the must-counter threats to this deck such as armageddon, lurking predators, or a planeswalker like nicol bolas. If they don't have those, you can also just protect your finisher if you don't have another one in hand.

I play relatively few lands. Instead I play a couple of cantrips. These fetch the lands I need early on and dig for spells later on. Also, the deck can easily win without dralnu, but with dralnu these cantrips will up me another free card. Dralnu himself is incredibly powerful if he sticks. He'll softlock your opponent usually. I advise to not play this against a burn heavy red deck though.

Finally, this deck is multiplayer focused and still somewhat casual. Feel free to change the less impressive cards like echo mage and lone revenant, hex, sphinx-bone wand if you're into a competitive deck. Though let it be known that lone revenant blocks like a king :)
