Thanks for your suggestions! I was considering putting a Bojuka Bog into the deck I've just been a bit lazy to be honest.. I'll also for sure be considering Leyline! The reason I don't have too much sacrifice in the deck is that, locally, people play with lots of token decks so it's easy enough for them to choose what to sacrifice. :)
I have Black Sun in there for the same reason as well, so that I may kill off the majority of their tokens and yet still keep some of my creatures alive; however I do see what you mean about the aggro and needing the draw advantage so I will definitely sideboard it as I do have a Decree handy in my binder.

Have you tried Massacre Wurm ? I know that it's not a vampire unless you have mephidross out but it would kill token decks

I have thought about it, but I am trying my hardest to keep it all vampires. Thank you however for your suggestion!

Crypt Ghast for more mana at a cheaper cost.
Contamination to lock the board until you can recover.
Toxic Deluge because this is the best kill spell in black.

I've thought about Crypt Ghast a lot, however I like keeping the deck all vampires. Does it gimp me sometimes? Yes, probably... but that's how I like it. Maybe on that one.
With how most of my games have gone and with whom I play most, I generally never have enough creatures that I can sacrifice let alone WANT to sacrifice for Contamination however I do see it's uses. It's a maybe for sure as well.
Toxic Deluge Love it, need it, gotta have it, great idea.

I'm gonna plus one this just because I am a fan of vampire decks. I have one too that similar but different. I use the same commander, she's simply amazing in any game.

This is a very creature aggro deck, and it does what vampire deck does best, brutally bully your enemies in a variety of different ways, I love it, and I love Drana! I would recommend Whip of Erebos though, so you can whip back vamps you may have lost, and for the life gain to prolong your life total and bully your enemy even further!

@Onyx_Mage I could probably take out Haunted Crossroads for that. Or do you think there are other things I should take out instead?
March 13, 2014 1:06 p.m.
Actually, Haunted Crossroads is great, but it all depends on your strategy, if you're running a slower strategy, run Haunted Crossroads , but if you're willing to play faster, but risk loosing a creature for good, run Whip of Erebos , but keep in mind it also gives you lifelink. It's all up to you and how you play friend.

What if he were to run both? It would make the deck a little more versatile. He could make the game run fast or slow depending on his draws.

Maybe if he was a vampire, I do use him for multiplayer games, when it becomes mono black instead of just vampires.

I love drana so much it's not even funny. But your deck is!! Have you condidered a little more control or ramp, i.e. Liliana of the Dark Realms and Liliana of the Veil
June 20, 2014 5:54 p.m.
Well, I can't tell if you're insulting my deck or not lol
I'm usually fine on ramp, and I have so many tutor cards that getting ramp generally isn't hard and that goes with the control aspect as well.
Planeswalkers never hurt though that's for sure, I'll accept your suggestions. But what would you suggest I take out in their stead? That's always the problem I have. Almost every card in my deck has it's own purpose.
My deck is a little more 1v1 oriented and they'd probably just be "win more" cards at this point, but I would definitely swap them in for multiplayer games, I don't know if I'd be able to get my hands on a Liliana of the Veil anytime soon, It's kind of hard to find 60 dollars just laying around.

A great thing about mono-coloured decks is that you can use Extraplanar Lens as another mana doubler.
I might know what you're thinking: "PhyrexianScience, that will also give anyone running black double mana for their swamps!"
That's why you replace all of your Swamps with Snow-Covered Swamp so that they have to not only be running black, but all of their swamps have to be snow-covered as well! And nobody I know has any snow-covered lands in any of their commander decks.
Otherwise, +1 for vampires and the very sexy description!

A few suggestions to consider. If you can get it Decree of Pain may be better than Black Sun's Zenith for you since you're more of an aggro deck. Some graveyard removal like Leyline of the Void , Bojuka Bog and so on will help against a lot of different commanders. Also stuff like Barter in Blood and Chainer's Edict can replace some of your targeted removal and help a lot against pesky hexproof, shroud and indestructible creatures. So I know you can produce a lot of mana with revenant, coffers, etc but I really feel like you need more land for consistency.
Overall I like the deck. Vampires was one of the tribal decks I wanted to try out. +1
