I'd be happy to hear any suggestions for the deck. I do have to watch what I spend on it but I'm sure I could find a way to get something if it made a big difference. Thanks for looking

I'd recommend Bloodbond Vampire instead of Nantuko Husk. If you have a lot of sources of life gain, it can get very big very quickly and can be used defensive until you're ready to hit. Also maybe throw in Felidar Sovereign as an alternative win strategy. Just a thought.

Thanks for the input I went with Nantuko Husk so when I have a large army I can swing with everything then regardless of how the opponent blocks a ton of damage gets through. I will try and find a spot for the Felidar Sovereign I like your thinking on that.

nantuko husk benefits largely from tokens. If you can find a way to spam creature tokens of some sort you would be helping it a great deal. Also try to add a few more win-cons such as felidar sovereign as suggested, relying on 4 cards out of 60 to win will leave you desperately searching through your deck half your games.

Thanks. I have added 2 Felidar Sovereign

For token generation Captain's Claws could help. it will set off rally on Kalastria Healer and could give you more options when using cohort.

Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim Is pretty great in terms of combat stats and her "ultimate." I also really like Serene Steward with all of your life triggers.

Am I the only one who likes Expedition Envoy? When you March you can get a her and 2 two-drops and a three-drop.

Serene Steward is great! I love a turn 2 steward with a turn 3 kalastria healer

I feel you can find something better than bone splinters to use for removal. Maybe Murderous cut or ultimate price.

Thanks Con. I'll give Ultimate Price a try and sideboard Murderous Cut. I appreciate the feedback and if you can up vote my deck that would be great.

Went 1-2at first FNM. Both loses went to game 3. Having a hard time with decks that load up on Planeswalkers.

More duresses can help with this problem. Duress can hit planeswalkers fyi.

Zulaport Cutthroat.

Oath of Gideon, Retreat to Emeria to the mainboard, those tokens are ally triggers and the cutthroat gives you the trigger when your dudes die, the Cliffhaven Vampire works well with drain

@freakangel thanks. I've had the Cliffhaven Vampire in but moved them out to speed up a bit. I will test with Oath of Gideon and Retreat to Emeria

Nice Deck. With mostly Vampires it might be fun to add Stoneforge Masterwork that can further buff your Bloodbond Vampire and make them pretty unstoppable.

I like it, though like Kawstik said it'll be helpful to add Cliffhaven Vampire, it'd work well with this setup

Cliffhaven Vampire probably will make it back into the deck. I only just took them out 2 days ago to see if it would speed up the deck a little bit. As far as Stoneforge Masterwork what to take out to make room?

I would maybe remove March from the Tomb? You may find it more valuable than I do, however. Whenever I ran it in my deck, I would rarely find a good time to use it because A. I didn't have many creatures in my graveyard or B. or it wouldn't pull out enough creatures to justify the high Mana cost. Just a suggestion of course. Not sure what else you could remove short of dropping to 22 lands or something. And while Call the Gatewatch is a good card, it could become wasted space potentially if you draw your Planeswalker in your opening hand. Cheers.

@Cragon18 I'll play test tonight with the march/stoneforge swap. Thanks again for the input.

Keeping the vampire theme, Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet and Sorin, Solemn Visitor would fit into this deck nicely. Also mentioned earlier, Oath of Gideon would give you 2 ally triggers (along with the bodies) and allows Gideon, Ally of Zendikar to ultimate the turn you play him and still stay alive.

March 2, 2016 11:26 p.m.

Kawstik says... #24

@kpral thanks for the tips my only issue is Kalitas doesn't trigger Rally and Sorin is about to rotate out so I don't want to drop the coin on him.

I like the deck, I honestly would not want to run the Call of the Gatewatch though. It seems wasted. It is only good in Superfriends decks that want options at planeswalkers. Cliffhaven Vampire has been ridiculous in my build, and March from the Tomb is excellent. It allows you to block more carelessly, knowing you're going to recure a bunch of things. Hitting 2 Healers and a Cliffhaven gets you 6 damage, gain 3, and nets three creatures in the process. Plus, Serene Steward activations or Bloodbond Vampire Counters.
