WIP, trying to speed up a deck that revolves around card advantage and creature buff. Trying to keep it at least semi-budget.
Notable Combos:
Arbor Elf
+
Forest
+
Utopia Sprawl
, Turn 1: Forest into Arbor Elf. Turn 2: Another land, then Utopia Sprawl on your Forest. 5 Mana on turn 2 isn't half bad, especially because that means a Fathom Mage or Chasm Skulker.
Bioshift
+
Chasm Skulker
+
Fathom Mage
, by moving the counters, you draw cards, getting the counters back on Chasm Skulker/Lorescale Coatl. One mana to double the amount of +1/+1 counters on your side of the field.
Chasm Skulker
+
Give / Take
+
Hardened Scales
, using just Take, you double the counters on Chasm Skulker and draw cards equal to the number of counters that were originally on him.
Hardened Scales + anything at all in this deck.
Sage of Hours is your backup, for when they cast Emrakul or something.
Bioshift
a few counters on him and get an extra turn before their extra turn, lol. At the very least, you can use him to get like fifty turns in a row by using a
Bioshift
every turn.
Run it like you would any other green X deck. Mana ramp into your useful creatures. If you're not unlucky, by turn 3 or 4 you're doubling/tripling every single one of your creature's power and toughness each turn while also giving yourself immense card advantage. Draw into Slip Through Space and attack for game anytime you feel comfortable. If you don't feel comfortable, you'll probably draw Stubborn Denial by then.
