Name is based off of the deck archetype "Draw Go," which gets its name from how it holds mana up for counterspells and instant speed draw to be able to react to opponent's threats. These decks are usually control, stalling for land drops until a big ol' finisher can end the game while controlling the board. Except my finisher is Spellheart Chimera, the true G O A T.

My deck is similar in that it plays with many instant speed draw effects and counterspells to prevent other decks from spiraling out of control, yet it isn't true control. It's more "Mono Lose."

Win Conditions

Spellheart Chimera and Enigma Drake care about the amount of instants and sorceries in the yard. I prefer these as win conditions more than things such as Guttersnipe or Thermo-Alchemist b/c the mechanics of the latter two cards requires too much emphasis on timing, they have to be drawn early in a "fair" spellslinging deck in order to create advantage yet have little staying power due to their lack of high toughness or any meaningful way to protect themselves. Spellheart Chimera and the crew scale reasonably well throughout the entire game (disregarding GY hate) and don't draw hate from the table by just furthering boardstate/gameplan like Guttersnipe does and can still act somewhat political by being able to choose when to deal damage.

To a lesser extent, cards like Wandering Fumarole and AEtherling are more difficult to kill but don't deliver as much damage. They are more consistent and require less commitment than the above, w/o getting hosed by Bokuja Bog. Talrand, Sky Summoner and Young Pyromancer fulfill a similar role of incremental damage but also provide blockers and board presence.

Chasm Skulker is funny to me.

Aetherflux Reservoir is amazing b/c of how much value can be accrued from very short periods of time. This essentially hands out grapeshots repeatably while not requiring storming out on one turn to kill somebody. This stabilizes the deck quickly if life total is in a rough spot, making it ridiculously useful even it isn't able to kill anyone.

Cards that didn't make the cut

Cards such as Ponder, Preordain and Serum Visions are not included b/c even though their power is much higher than cards I've added such as Peek or Opt, the fact that they are cannot be played at instant speed makes it difficult to exploit Jori En's ability.

Good lands: I have no money
