So, I wanted to make a commander deck that embodied me, and the type of Magic player I am. I want everybody to have lots of fun playing against this deck. I don't particularly want to have hard mind games of "oh what do I counter?" and "will they be mad if I blow this up?" and so forth.

I wanted a deck that makes both my opponents and I think outside the box. So for that, I looked to Nekusar, the Mindrazer. He takes one of the most basic things in Magic and turns it on its head. Sure, you can draw 28 cards in one turn, but you'll take at least 28 damage for doing it, so would you rather just play with the hand you're dealt or are you ok with the 28 damage?

It's things like this that I like. I like that Waste Not plus any wheel is an INSANE combo engine since I will get tons of mana in a multiplayer game, and still a good amount in 1v1.

So the bottom line of the deck is this: I don't want the commander game I play to be about me. I want it to be about everybody and the decisions we all make. Also everybody loves drawing cards, so what could go wrong? Right?
