hey thanks for the idea PrestonShilling !! ill definitely try it out once i got a Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind in my hand.. btw i saw your deck and tested and it was sweet! if only i have those cards like yours my nekusar will be definitely as fast as yours :) but still im enjoying my deck even though its a little bit slower.. and also thanks for the plus 1 :)

Might I suggest Toxic Deluge in place of the Black Sun's Zenith ? It has been a great card in my Nekusar deck, and I often get to do other fun things in the same turn, like casting my commander! Maybe even get a Wheel of Fortune in here somewhere? Otherwise, I'm digging the draw-heavy theme.

Absolutely nothin wrong wit a slower build. Commander is about having fun. The only reason my nekusar deck is so stacked is because they're a few card sharks in my meta, so I have two Nekusar lists, one is casual (I actually lose more times than not) and the other is for when the crazy fast combos and tempo decks come out. In that list I'm actually either te first one to die (because everyone knows my competitive build is quick I get triple teamed and have to outrace three people working in unison to stop my progress) or I kill the table. Lol. But I literally built the deck saying "how do I outrace an ENTIRE TABLE?!!?!?!" Lol.

@Skuby actually im planning to replace zenith with Toxic Deluge
as soon as i got that card.. im also planning to remove Life's Finale
to be replaced by Damnation
but its too costy right now (im broke! lol) also is true for Wheel of Fortune
as soon as i can get those cards there will be a sweet spot for them :)
@PrestonShilling actually im refering to your lands and those mox, and i know how u feel!! LOL! once i've placed my combos they began to hate me because i can kill them any moment i want! wahaha!! thanks again to your recommended cards! i just drive them crazy again with those! :D

I think Exile to the Gods works better than your deck; however, yours is an EDH. Well made!

You could definatley run a Dictate of Kruphix or a Jace Beleren . Your opponents may draw cards but hey! Do you really care? ;) hahaha
July 22, 2014 1:07 p.m.
@JoyousCloth as i've said above i remove Dictate of Kruphix and Howling Mine because i don't like giving other players additional draws because they'll just remove my commander or my draw pain cards.. same as true with Jace Beleren .. and if i could find a planeswalker i think Dack Fayden would fit in here..

+1 I love the addition of Barbed Shocker and Dragon Mage , but they could use a reliable way to get damage through since you don't have many creatures. Trample and Flying are nice, but anyone with a few creatures can stop them easily.
July 24, 2014 12:58 p.m.
@raefgall thanks for up 1 and actually you have a point there but its edh you'll never know what's gonna happen next.. sometimes it works sometimes not but when it works it's cruel i should say.. :)

While it is fairly situational, Quicksilver Dagger isn't a bad card in this deck to start with, and would trigger Barbed Shocker .
July 24, 2014 2:33 p.m.
hey thanks for that.. never knew there was a card like that.. might try it as soon as i can get it.. :)

Thanks for the +1! Nice deck here. If you want to let Barbed Shocker and Dragon Mage through easier, you could use Rogue's Passage .
I would recommend putting Exquisite Blood back in. It's put me out of reach so many times after a wheel (making them resort to commander damage only). Also, Sangromancer is another great card to play before a wheel. I'm not sure you need Ophidian Eye or Tandem Lookout , since you have a lot of draw from other cards, so you could consider replacing them with Rise of the Dark Realms (since you have some mill) and Sigil of Sleep . Lastly, a Bojuka Bog might be nice if one of your opponents has enough reanimation where milling and discarding his hand would actually help him.

hey thanks for your insights.. before i posted this deck here i am already using a Rogue's Passage and Bojuka Bog .. but i removed them because it makes my land a bit slower since bog comes in tapped and passage is only for crawler and d-mage, also if my playgroup is control heavy so when i place those two they kill it out as fast as they can.. Exquisite Blood may come in anytime, Sangromancer is quite good might as well try it out.. Sigil of Sleep will be there once i get one.. Rise of the Dark Realms is good but its just a Swan Song to ruin my day but might give it a try once i tested out Waste Not in an actual game.. for those two draw cards i might remove Tandem Lookout but not the eye..

Sounds good. I have gotten better results from Sangromancer compared to Exquisite Blood by the way.

Thanks for the suggestions earlier, I really like the creature. I probably need to cut a couple lands out of my deck, but I was waiting to get a few better lands first.
Your deck seems to focus heavily on the commander kill which is probably much faster than mine. I removed most of that functionality as I found it almost too easy. Still one of the most fun commander deck I have.
My suggestions for you are Archmage Ascension and Jace Beleren and Mana Vault over Fellwar Stone . +1
July 31, 2014 7:49 p.m.
actually it does not rely too much on the commander because of it's many variations so even if my commander goes tucked i can still find a way to win.. your suggested cards are already there before i posted my deck here.. i changed Archmage Ascension because its too hard to reach those 6 counters because they just remove it before it reaches 6.. for Jace Beleren i just don't like giving my opponents those draws.. if i might have a planeswalker i'll put a Dack Fayden there.. and for Mana Vault i think i'll give it a try once i have one.. thanks for your insights :D

It's almost impossible to kill someone with general damage here. Keep in mind that general damage is only cause by attacking, something that Nekusar doesn't like to really do, so unless you build a Nekusar Voltron list. Lol

if You have Mind Over Matter , add Temple Bell it's nice combo with commander in the field:) (Otherworld Atlas works too, but temple bell is ready right after hitting the table)
October 29, 2014 9:54 a.m.
@klone13 it is in my maybe board.. once i got it it will be inserted in the deck
@Azul987 Otherworld Atlas works just fine for me.. it is like a time bomb.. but might as well try the bell :D

Very nice deck! Had a lot of fun play-testing it against my own and it was some pretty close stuff there. I can tell a lot of love was put in this. Keep it up! It's truly one of the best mill/draw/burn decks I've seen in a long time :O

Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind loves to be in this deck. Your mana rocks could use some attention too. Nekusar is a deck that wants to ramp, very quickly. So you'll want to get away from most of the three drop mana rocks. Take a look at my list for ideas as they're too many to list. Nekusar's Perfect Storm
If you add niv mizzet, then you may also want to consider Curiosity Ophidian Eye Tandem Lookout Helm of the Ghastlord and Mind Over Matter
All of these combo with niv for some serious damage.
If niv isn't on the field, drawing any of the creature enchantments isnt a dead draw, because Nekusar loves them too. "Your turn, you draw two and so will I" is very fun to say to your friends.
Mind over matter is a a tand alone card in Niv's combo that's outstanding on its own. It acts like an engine to keep wheeling or like a control option keeping major threats tapped down. +1.
