The clan is as one

Having read the story about Dromoka and her clan, I thought it would be really cool to build an EDH deck that emulates the clan and their structure.

I really like associating a theme to my decks. The idea of a "family" where everyone is respected for who they are and what they bring to the table is a fun theme to build around.

A few requirements I put in place for the deck are:

  1. No Gods (The clan does not allow worship of deities)

  2. Cards that pertain to Dromoka herself must be present, that is unless they are hilariously bad.

  3. It needs to be a combination of creatures (Dragons, Humans, Angles, Elf's, etc.), as that is how the clan is structured.

  4. Lastly and obviously Dromoka must lead the deck.

The deck has dragons and various other cards pertaining to Dromoka herself such as Dromoka's Command. I tried to balance as much as I could between ramp, card draw and protection. There are several removal spells, fetch type spells and creature buffs. This deck has gone through many revisions and the power level has gone up by a lot since its first inception. I very much plan on having this deck remain my main. It is not the most powerful deck but, it is strong and will hold its own. The deck is built specifically to be able to handle many different situations and board states. It is very control heavy but, I like it that way and to be honest that fits the central theme of the clans rules.

I would really appreciate any feedback anybody might have for improving this deck. I am not against spending some money on a card if it fits well.

Updates Add

I have long focused on slowing the game down to give my self time to ramp up. The recent changes are me focusing on shifting that slightly. Before this change there were cards that were slowing the game down to a crawl with not much in the way of interaction from me after the play was made. Honestly my goal is not to make the game unfun simple because I can't properly utilize cards like Dranith Magistraight:. My goal is to force players to figure out ways to get around tap effects, to figure out how to affect me on my turn, not get upset because they can't play their commander. Which I understand, so without further ado

-1 Drannith Magistrate for +1 Loran of the Third Path The Magistraight is oppressive, only drags out the game, and I can't utilize it well enough to do a quick win. Plus more card draw and remove was desired.

-1 Mother of Runes for +1 Stoneforge Mysticfoil I have had this stoneforge for a long time and I think I will fix well with the existing equipment in the deck.

-1 Thalia, Heretic Cathar for +1 Authority of the Consuls Similar effect, but cheaper. Lets make those token decks work for it!

-1 Swiftfoot Boots for +1 Lightning Greaves No brainer change, free attach effect.

-1 Exploration for +1 Pearl Medallion I opted for this because I prefer Burgeoning. Pearl has an immediate effect of making spells cheaper so I think this will pay off quickly.

-1 Moat for +1 Blind Obedience Again Moat is oppressive and make the death of opponents slow and painful. It was only a proxy so I'm not out much. I like Blind Obedience's life effects and want to try it.

-1 Tome of Legends for +1 Scroll Rack Tome is slow and Rack has more utility early game.

-1 Dromoka's Command for +1 Approach of the Second Sun This one was painful as that is the last Dromoka flavored card in the deck, it just was not doing much at all. I have wanted to experiment with alternative wincons for some time now and Approach seems like a good fit for the deck.

-1 Greater Good for +1 Sword of Fire and Ice Did not like Greater good at all and wanted a sword instead. This sword is good and I am exceited to try it.

-1 Forest for +1 Boseiju, Who Endures I have no desire to get into mass land destruction, but single target would be nice hence this change and the following two.

-1 Plains for +1 Wasteland

-1 Plains for +1 Strip Mine

I think these might be the best changes to the deck yet and will really help elevate it to a more consistent and slightly quicker state. I think these changes are huge and take this deck from a high 7 to a solid 8. As always feed back is welcome.
