After the release of origins the mechanic that I fell in love with was renown. I considered just making a renown deck, but realized it would me much more fun to add bolster as well because who does not love Dromoka, the Eternal ? Most of the card advantage comes from Valeron Wardens , as well as the high quality creatures that keep getting bigger and bigger. BTW: this deck instantly becomes a budget deck by removing Windswept Heath which I got from the magic origins clash pack. (I highly recommend buying it due to its over 30$ of +1+1 counter synergy fun in both of its decks.)

Ok back to strategy.

When going against another aggro deck you have the advantage in the form of higher quality creatures as well as life gain from War Oracle , bring in Abzan Battle Priest from your sideboard to take on difficult aggro decks since all the creatures have the ability to earn +1+1 counters. Against mid range bring in all the effective removal from your sideboard to take out their big creatures so that your renown ones have a better chance to survive. Because when a Citadel Castellan hits it becomes a Siege Rhino with vigilance. To beat control hit them as fast as you can to activate renown and put +1+1 counters on your creatures so they can be big enough to survive Drown in Sorrow and Languish .
