Maybe you want Hellfire for some thematic wrath action?

And maybe.... you'll want to switch the classic Mirror Universe for Soul Conduit -- you can have 'lifeswap shennanigans' multiple times this way, and the cost shouldn't be too much of a problem

I can't help but think that Eternity Vessel would also be a worth while substitute for Mirror Universe Pay what life you want to effects then drop a land during second main phase.

Keep up the suggestions everyone! I'm testing them all now!

Ha! Most of your suggestions were very worthy and extraordinarily fun. I'll post my findings in a while.

I think Lord of the Void would be a nice fit.

Hmmmmm.

I had recently been toying around with the idea of having this become a demon deck, but it would call for a change of commander.

Ha! This is another excuse to playtest hundreds more cards for the deck. Thanks @BreadManDan !

I'm sure it's already been suggested somewhere previously, but Ring of Three Wishes might have a spot in here for extra tutor shenanigans.

Sanguine Bond would be great too, but Exquisite Blood is already in here. Personally, I think infinite combos are fine if it's used to end the game immediately (such as the two above enchantments). In your example, yes, 12 turns in a row is pretty dumb. Anything that grinds the game to a halt will leave a bitter taste in my mouth.

As much as I agree with you (game-enders are not the same as infinite combo), Sanguine Bond and Exquisite blood in a deck at the same time leads to certain stigma in my playgroup. It's for this reason I don't play Sorin Markov unless I see someone start some douchery in a game. It'll just sit in my hand and do nothing otherwise.

The ring of three wishes is cool, but not as cool as Planar Portal!

I take it everything that should be on this list that isn't is because of budget? Regardless of budget constraints: I'd like to see Phyrexian Arena, Underworld Connections, Scroll Rack, Mana Vault, Mana Crypt, Grim Monolith, Grim Tutor, Cruel Tutor, Dimir House Guard, Tainted Pact, Diabolic Tutor, Demonic Consultation and Imperial Seal.

Nothing really to forward the game plan but just general tutors and mana rocks to consider that I've found really useful in a competitive EDH setting.

EDIT: There's this new-fangled "already been considered" function. When did that get into the T/O system?

@Edit: No idear.

Phyrexian Arena, Underworld Connections: Need an "off" button and a more consistent ways to do more than 1 draw a turn without spending psuedo mana.

Scroll Rack: I want this so bad it hurts, but I can never seem to find a seller. Ah well, that's what TCG is for.

Mana Crypt, Mana Vault: Would definitely have been added but I have a thing against playing with super $ proxies, and having a couple of Alpha's makes it pricy enough. I'm considering Mana Vault though.

Tainted Pact....isn't the only exit condition Swamps? If that's true, this is amazing and I want this card that can give me 8 cards potentially before a 2nd swamp. If I'm reading this right.

Demonic Consultation hurts survivability and adds a niche weakness to the deck. Considering it.

Imperial Seal: Aaahahahahaha, that price is nearly 60% of the deck.

Tainted Pact would be till you draw a Swamp OR till you decide to put a card in your hand. Essentially you are exiling the top cards of your library till you get what you want unless you find two Swamps, in which case if you find two swamps before you put something into your hand, you get nothing in your hand. In other words, you only get one card, but if you reveal two swamps before you put one into your hand, you get no cards.

Doomwake Giant against token decks? Or Virulent Plague for that matter. Tainted Remedy could back up your sangromancy enchantments.

For a name:

Black Death, An Enchanting Demise, Cursed God, Hexed, Erebos's Voodoo, Voodoo God, Dark Seduction, Of Gods and Demons, Hexed to Death, Embodied Curse, Black Bewitching, Blight God, Blight Curse, Death Cursed, Unrelenting Death, HexLord

Hex and curse are synonyms for enchantment (but with a negative connotation).

What do you think about Darkblast its a combo with Erebos, God of the Dead and its always fun to kill someone's Birds of Paradise, Llanowar Elves, or Dryad Arbor.

It would be an ok addition for any non-insane card draw/sanguimancy styled decks, except I would rather have those 3 cards that I dredge because this deck has the actual real power to draw those cards and play them. What I'm missing out/have to take out for a single weak spot removal is kind of non-considerable (deck is competitive)

I dont know, your deck dies to oblivion stone. a card everyone and my mom plays in EDH.

Or a Perilous Vault, or a Worldslayer, or a Planar Cleansing. Point is, board wipes happen, happen frequently, and artifact and enchantment death is no different. The thing is that this deck survives them with ease with a perfected formula of recurrence via cards that can be tutored or drawn in response to the end of the world spell. Lets not forget, if the oblivion stone is to be more helpful for you than say, my deck, you'll probably want a single time to tap it. And anyone who thinks I"d let them survive that soon after tapping has not played against a sufficiently powerful sangromancy deck.

At this point, I kind of don't have to defend against circular logic ("Dies to murder" argument) because of Q.E.D. This deck has made bank already in tournaments and continues to entertain me to no end.

*Addendum: For nearly a year of continuous play. Food for thought.

I play a similar deck more focused on mass discard than lifedrain though. The onlycard you can use to "counter"massdestruction is Yawgmoth's Will. I Just dont see Mono Black being as "competitive" as you describe it against those wizard themed Bant decks with Prophet of Kruphix Deadeye Navigator and Shenangian ETBcreatures linked to it. Appreciate if you can tell me Ways to handle those couunter heavy control decks or if you can showe me other ways to handle "end of the world" spells than Yawgmoth's Will
