i recently got a Skyscribing and felt it was an interesting version of Blus Sun's Zenith that would work better for this deck.

Forced Fruition seems like it would be a great addition in order to make them truly regret everything they play, so you might have that going for you. Great deck though, +1

I originally had Forced Fruition in the deck but I took it out when I was taking cards out that where a bit too advantage giving like Dictate of Kruphix and Howling Mine, but I think it's worth considering again

I might add a couple discard effects, like Thoughtseize, Despise, Dark Deal, Duress or Mind Rot. However, I would definitely suggest Damnable Pact

Oh God, I love me some Nekuboo. Check my build out at Nekusar take the Wheel.
Needs Wasteland and Strip Mine to answer the problematic lands you'll inevitably run into in EDH. I'm a big fan of Dispel. I'd say over Memory Lapse if your meta has any prevalence of blue. Phyrexian Tyranny has killed me so many times I gave up on it. I want to be able to draw my entire deck. Elder Mastery is expensive and super win more most of the time. Royal Assassin is too damn slow. Your mana base seems solid enough. A Darksteel Ingot could replace Chromatic Lantern for greater resiliency.

No Font of Mythos and Howling Mine? Those would be the first thing I add in.

Howling mine effects are the last thing you want in Nekusar. There are ways to dump huge cards into your opponents hands. The trick is to limit how much value they get out of those cards. Howling Mine effects are also slow as balls.

@kiloken I don't really have enough red stuff in the deck to make Chandra Ablaze worth it.
@Antimatterpenguin Singularily discard effects are kind of underwhelming with all the extra drawing to make up for the loss of a card. Also I think Damnable Pact is a pretty decent Nekusar card I just don't think it fits into this build.
@TheDevicer I have issues with Wasteland and Strip Mine because I have an intense hatred of land destruction. I like Dispel and it may still work it's way in but for now I've decided to replace Memory Lapse with Stifle. You're right about Phyrexian Tyranny it's just to dangerous (and it totally shuts off Curiosity + Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind ) so I replaced it along with Elder Mastery and Royal Assassin. Darksteel Ingot's indestructibility is nice but I prefer Chromatic Lantern for the rainbowification.
@darshangnaidu TheDevicer kind of said it for me. What I'm looking for is chaotic amounts of drawing but stuff like Howling Mine just provides straight up card advantage for my opponents.

DavidBray It tends to work fairly well worst case scenario it's a worse Mind Stone but typically in EDH you'll be against 3 other people all running things like City of Brass, Forbidden Orchard, and any number of dual lands so it can fairly often act like it says Add one mana of any color to your mana pool

What about Forced Fruition and Wheel of Fate? The first deals them a ton of damage and the second, is a second Wheel of Fortune. Though possibly a bit too slow for this deck, Temple Bell is a second Jace Beleren so even more card draw.
April 20, 2015 8:03 p.m.
@Coinman1863 I've tried Forced Fruition but I just can't get it to work for me and as for Wheel of Fate I prefer not avoid having to work with suspend as something may happen where you no longer want the wheel effect. I think Temple Bell is pretty good I just don't have anything I'd want to take out for it.
@JarruktheMindslayer Jace's Erasure is a bit slow and milling isn't very important to the deck (Mindcrank only really ever comes out for the infinite combo our to enable metalcraft)
@ShogunSalazar Magus of the Jar is a bit too slow for my liking

Love the deck, certainly has my vote! As for suggestions. Have you ever considered Riptide Laboratory? Gives you the ability to bounce Nekusar in the event of a board wipe or targeted removal. And actually looking at your deck, it could be used to bounce most of your valuable creatures. On the topic of lands, how about Crosis's Catacombs? It does require you to bounce a land, but it comes out untapped, so it functions similar to Crumbling Necropolis. Academy Ruins is nice too if you happen to wheel a good artifact away, or for abusing Memory Jar. Moving on from lands, perhaps Charmbreaker Devils, Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, and Sire Of Insanity? The first really helps out on spell recursion consistently. Jin is a great end game play assuming you have an infinite hand size, and even without that he is great. Sire Of Insanity does wonders if you have a superior board state since everyone will have to rely on top decking to get through you, plus Library of Leng can help you keep what you want!

@Podma101 I've been considering Riptide Laboratory for a while and I do want to use it I just need to get around to working it in. I'm not a fan of Crosis's Catacombs or bounce lands in general. Academy Ruins never occurred to me but I do have quite a few artifacts so it could potentially be quite useful. I used to use Charmbreaker Devils and Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur but I cut them out as the just weren't quite doing it for me. Sire Of Insanity could be interesting so I'll have to test it out.

I love this deck. I have a neku deck too, would you look at it? Hold on, I thought card draw was a GOOD thing.

Have you considered Venser's Journal? It seems to be useful when you want to draw and keep a bunch of cards, and have a bountiful hand utility provided your mana on board allows for it either that turn, or the turn after. Plus, life gain is always cool.

If you use a wheel effect, would Psychosis Crawler die?
