Awesome man!! Please do tell me how it went. The more I play with it, the better the results, still learning what works best against different match-ups. Stormy has been doing soooo much work, I'm thinking of putting in a 3rd copy in the board, replacing a Kola. Good luck tomorrow! Come back to +1 if you had fun! ;)

http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/21-04-15-wpu-grixis-dragons/ Take a Look at my version.

I think you have a solid build. The only things I dont like are the Kolaghan(maybe just personal preference, but in a control deck I only want to dash her in turn 7 at the earliest and always paying 5 mana is a good way to give your opponent an oppurtunity to play a bomb that you wont be able to counter) and the 4 of Dig(its a great card but not one I want multiples of in my starting hand, hence why I run 3) I like your mana Base apart from 2 urborgs which feels like a way to dead draw.

All in all solid deck

I also didn't think much of Kola before, but testing with it has been very good especially when having another dragon already on the battlefield, I've caused a few blowouts by dashing it and having young Silumgar on the board, all their dudes get -2/-2 while I Have 11 power of flyers in the air coming out of nowhere!! I also never played it before turn 7 anyway, but really can help in the control mirror, worst case they are wasting a counterspell while I have more dragons coming, and can bring it back at haste speed later with Haven.

I started this version with only 3 digs, but really having access to more digs is always good, I think I'd play 5 if I could, really! Having a few in my starting hand doesn't really happen, and if it does, I'm still casting one on turn 5-6, and another one on turn 7-8 so it's all good really.

I also didn't start out with 2 Tombs, and was so skeptical when a guy suggested I play 2, but it has allowed me to play less tap lands, more fetches, I really really love the 2nd one. Worst case scnenario I'm either playing the second one to get one more card to delve or I'm keeping it in my hand to represent some fake threats, either way the advantage really outweighs the few times it becomes a dead card, I want an Urborg on my side every game.

Why no Hero's Downfall in the MB? O:

I use to have it in the MD but I'd rather use cheap options in game 1, then if I really need it I board it in. Basically the reasons for me to board it in are Planeswalker heavy match-ups and Siege Rhino, other than that I feel the other 2 drop options or even Foul-Tongue work better.

You have a point :D +1 from me btw

I think the Grixis deck has been great for me...i did make some pretty heavy changes to the deck for my taste, but thanks for the original idea. I felt that Kolaghan as a one of was sweet way to steal victories out of nowhere and he did on several occasions.

Here is my list I ended up splitting top 4 with after 5 rounds.

Great thinking on the Anger of the Gods VS Deathmist Raptor!!

I am going to try this out. Been looking for a unique deck for FNM. Also, did you consider dragonlord's prerogative?

I have added dragonlord's Prerogative as a one of in place of a dig through time in my list and it has been awesome everytime I've drawn it.

Yeah I've been pondering a lot about this one, I'm just not sure if I should remove a counter for extra draw or not!

LumpyMilk, I swapped the fourth stormy in the SB for a copy of Keranos, I'm still testing with that but so far so good! He saved the day a few times VS Abzan Control!

Yeah definitely! In general young Silumgar is the best threat, hexproof is so busted!

Good question! My first version of the deck use to have it as a one-of, but I ended preferring other options...hmmm I mean I could cut Ultimate Prices for Murderous Cuts but I just feel that I prefer conditional certain-2-drops, than unconditional 1 to 5 drop...In the SB, the only removal I could replace for it is perhaps the Downfalls but I kind of like to hold on to them VS Planeswalker heavy decks!

I'd love to see you version! Is it on tapped out yet? I'll have a look!

Another reason I forgot is THAT I kind of like to keep all the Graveyard fuel for the Digs! However it might be better to run Cuts, I'm just not sure!

I'm trying my hand at a grixis, that's more aggressive and I'd love if you'd take a look at it

http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/plaing-with-matches-oh-and-gasoline/

I'm thinking abt building a side board to push it more towards control, any thoughts?
