I love Grixis and have been having a slight challenge building my own brew, so seeing this was a great help! There is really only one thing I dislike about this deck and that is that I like there should probably be a pair of Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet mainboard due to how creature heavy the meta is right now.
I did brew a somewhat midrangey Jeskai Control deck for standard and would love some feedback. Thanks.

TheGhostOfSaintos - As you can see from my description, I used to run the pair mainboard during quite a few metas last year. I had many discussions with high skill players and the conclusion is that he's just a little too slow and vulnerable to tap out for (when your not sure of what you're facing). I can definitely see the case for it mainboard but I've found that keeping him in the side gave us better 1st games as we are initially always about getting to see what opponent is playing and reacting to it in the most efficient way possible. BASICALLY, the conclusion is that it's WAY better to drop a Kali when you know your chances of him surviving then tapping out and hoping not to lose too much tempo to him (because a Kali that lands on the board and gets killed right away it the most tempo the deck gives to opponent whereas you ALWAYS get something out of Hulk and GDD).
It's a tricky one man, but I do prefer the extra removal instead of additional win-cons which we rarely need in game 1. Kali is amazing against certain matchups, but will lose you the game to tempo in others.
I friggin love the card though, and even am running copies in my Modern Grixis deck!
Cheers!

PSA: With the new rule on split card CMCs, Never//Return in the yard has a CMC of 7!...which makes it untargetable with GDD...TOTALLY a deal-breaker! Back to good ol' Ruinous Path it is!..

Wuddup fellow minions of BOLAS, I don't know about yall, but on my side on MTGO the deck's been kicking some major ass!! Been wiping zombies and countering Marvels PROPER. The deck is pretty well positioned currently I feel. Any of you brought it to FNM yet?
I like how the Pro Tour in turning out, the less Gideons (or white in general) in the meta, the better for us!!! :D

Lili and Chandras are so core man and versatile at what they do, I don't think you can really replace them at all man. Censor is kinda cool, but I would keep it for a more all-in control dedicated deck. I'm not running THAT many counters so I want them to hit every time.

After a couple of weeks testing Kefnet, I'v got some stuff to share. I tried a few builds around Kefnet, but there was 2 decks that were probably the best.
The first was a Grixis Control thats similar to your deck, although had some different cards, like Hieroglyphic Illumination, Fatal Push, Censor and a couple of other stuff. Although the deck went pretty well, it was annoying to have to play Kefnet the Mindful and then wait a few turn bcs the opponent had some stuff I needed to get rid of.
The second deck was the better of the 2 tho, being an Esper Control. I took your advice and ran a ton of boardwipes (8 or 9) and a few more draw spells than usual. The point of the deck was to wipe and disrupt everything early and eventually (and slowly) kill them. The deck even was slow enough to have Cruel Reality as a finisher.
Some stuff I found interesting as well:
I thought Fevered Visions would be sick with Kefnet, but there were some better cards to use like Pull from Tomorrow.
Kefnet is a bomb against control. U can use his ability to attack while tapped out and get away with it.
Thx for the advice and stuff m8!

Illuminate21 Thx for dropping by! This is valuable feedback buddy. Definitely any engine that draws cards like Visions would be bonkers with Kefnet! In that matter, one could even imagine a Jeskai Control based around Kefnet, Visions, Draw, Wipes and Counters.
I did have more opportunity to whip out Kefnet in the last weeks and he certainly did close out some games - I can see building around him like you did! And Cruel Reality? Dang that's spicy!
Cheers!

EastsideRock Np mate, glad I could provide the info. I personally have to run black in mostly any deck I make, pretty much worshiping the color. Although I could see Jeskai being extremely good with Kefnet.
Btw I prefer not to brag, but I kinda have to when Cruel Reality is what killed one of my opponents, who was playing Mono B Zombies xD

ok guys: In the last few days, I've been losing to Marvel more than I'm comfortable with. It's official, everyone is now on Marvel's dick.
We don't need to make drastic changes but I'm considering swapping the slots of Kefnet, Final Reward and possibly By Force for more tools against that particular matchup. Is it gonna be more Negate, Void Shatter, Disallow and/or is it worth to consider more ''exotic'' stuff such as Summary Dismissal, Overwhelming Denial, Confiscation Coup!? What's it gonna be! State your cases! :D

Haha yeah not a bad consideration either!! Reading on reddit.com/r/spikes/ for ideas, I'm even considering Pull from Tomorrow in the side.

I think I will start with Dispossess and Summary Dismissal, and I will keep the By Force since it can deal with resolved Marvels while even killing a few Thopters in the process.

So I still can't get Liliana or Chandra,,, are there any quick replacements I can use?
May 15, 2017 10:29 p.m.
EastsideRock says... #20
They both provide 1) Removal 2) Win Condition 3) Card advantage....so it's impossible to replace them, but I guess if you had too you could replace Lili with more counters/removal and Chandra with another curve-topper like the Hexproof Sphinx perhaps. What you will be lacking the most will be Chandra's sweeper mode and Lili's -2/-1 mode.

Could u put more Torrential Gearhulk and Goblin Dark-Dwellers to replace em? Maybe Enigma Drake as a finisher.

Can I ask what the game plan is for the various indestructible creatures in the format, mainly Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger and the various AKH gods such as Rhonas the Indomitable?
Is there profit going into Jeskai for access to exile via Declaration in Stone and Cast Out as well as Gideon, Ally of Zendikar and access to full boardwipes?
Or am I missing a way of cleaning up these cards and decks ?
Also is Magma Spray going to feature more for you due to zombie madness?

I am curious why you have not put in any dual cycle lands when they seem better than the other lands for control since they are not a dead card late game, you could put 8 in this color combination. They even allow you to play more lands potentially, like 27 and be able to draw with them and not be flooded. I think they even edge out anticipate.
