EastsideRock ya, I run 3x Thief of Sanitys, too damn good of card. I ran just 2x in the past but they focused on so quick that running 3x now helps out later. I've also been running Ego and Elderspells, great cards. Unfortunately my opponents seem to keep drawing either Nexus or Wilderness Reclamation before I can pull of one Ego.

I made 2 changes to the list I run, first one is I traded Ral for Ugins, I like ugins -3 more than Rals since it can hit basically everything, his +1 draws cards "slower", but the 2/2 can be nice since it has an impact on the board, blocking/attacking and such.
The second is I traded the two sideboard Thief of Sanity for Narset's, Thief has never won me a game I was already losing, its only ever done well if I was already winning and I dont feel the need for the extra wincon. Narset's passive ability is so strong against other control and Reclamation style decks, even just shuts em down completely sometimes.

illegalKross I see what you are saying, not been too impressed with Thief in our deck so far, especially because like you said he doesn't get us back in the game. I think I will give Narset a try, need more tools against UWx control.

EastsideRock illegalKross Is it just me or does Grixis fall off in Plat games? It does very well in the lower ranks but once in Plat it just gets overrun. How have your games been? Highest I get normally is Plat 2 then I get thrown back down and stuck between Plat 3 and 4.

MisterHanzo Actually I've noticed that too, ive been stuck in plat2 for almost a week now. Though I only play ~8-10 matches a day.

MattN7498 That deck is also called Grixis Midrange i.e. strategy is to maxout on the best cards at each CMC (and you tappout a lot). Although it seems very powerful, I'm not a midrange player, it is not my style. But it does seem to perform really well, not denying it.

deathbysnusnu Wow excellent performance man! Congrats! :D
Against Bant flash, you'll want to prioritize instant speed answers so you could start by taking out Angrath's and the sorcery-speed sweepers. Perhaps the Erasures won't do much against that match up also.
FYI, I will finally try some Narsets out now. -1 Angrath -1 Ral +2 Narsets

EastsideRock Narset has been very helpful for me in finding the cards I need in critical moments. Discovery / Dispersal has also been helpful for cases of bad draws and/or opponent with a hexproof high cost creature, pw or enchantment.

Been playtesting with Narsets So far it working great. Also been testing with Discovery/Dispersalx2 and 1 chemister's insight
I playtest against my Bant flash deck / Feather Combo / Mono green tron.
So far Discovery reallly helps With planeswalkers / dealing with stuff to stall for a turn. But i feel less draw because of the lack of chemister's But i feel that narset kinda offsets that.

Hey wuddup wuddup buddies, how about M20? Doesn't seem to be any bomb-ass cards for us, but a couple interesting fine-tuning / sideboard cards nontheless.
I don't really think we will run it, but damn some part of me miss DTT so much lol.
Reminds me a lot of Lili Hope, which was fantastic to stall the early game. The payout is not bad either, it will certainly deserve some testing.
Very meta dependent, but we should keep an eye on this one.
Very happy about this reprint for my Modern deck so I'll just have those hanging around in case they are needed in Standard. RIP Phoenix decks. :D
Another meta dependent card, but very good at what it does, should GW be on top.
No idea, if we'd ever be able to profit from this, but I find it very interesting, especially for 1CMC.
CMC is very high, it doesn't protect itself, but holy cow is it powerful. Might test with 1 copy, just for the fun factor and see how it does.
Not typically the kind of card we would play but the die-trigger really works with our graveyard synergies.
Really like this card. The ''can't be counter'' means that we get certain value of it as both tick down modes are pure removal. Worst case we can start ticking it up which is an inevitable win-con by itself. Very nice.
On a Fuck-Teferi basis, this is the best card of the set for us haha. I foresee running a few copies in the side since UW will probably still be powerful even after Hero of Dominaria rotates...
Graveyard hate is really going to be strong this time around. Less good than Leyline of Void, but ''cheaper to cast'', so still relevant.

July 1, 2019 9:28 a.m.
I love Grix control, I had started a similar build when I came across your set up. It's a great set up for m20. I do want to test this more thoroughly but having a park double either main deck or in the board may be an interesting addition, slamming out a copy of another God or a Bolas with a +1 for a 4 drop could really cause some fun mayhem. Also going to cycle in some dicovery//dispersal in some more playtests.

MisterHanzo I also faced some Nexus decks today, seems like they now are full of Teferis, so yeah, keep everything that kills walkers, do bring in Elderspells and Thiefs too!
