Sedge Scorpion has vowed to slay the usurper, leading a handpicked squad into battle that will bring glory and honor to the banner of Sedge Scorpion . The Scorpion scoffs at the notion that the Almighty Storm Crow could have chosen anyone but him to be his champion on the plane, and will fight to any end to defend his claim as the Overlord of Theros.

War was openly being raged on Theros, neither side tipping the balance, when another contender appeared. Sigiled Starfish rose from the ocean it ruled, declaring that since it already controlled the oceans, it would only be destiny that it ruled over all of Theros. It's army charged into battle, and the war turned into a three-way brawl.
