Standard legal blue/black deck designed to take advantage of Agent of the Fates heroic trigger to maintain board control. Hidden Strings works very well in this deck to abuse heroic triggers; while ciphering does not trigger heroic, the initial casting does, as well as all future copies. Primary Win-Con is combining Agent of the Fates board-clearing with opponent's creatures stolen with Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver . This deck will be undergoing tweaking based on play experience as well as to deal with the local meta.

Played at FNM and Game Day with this deck, and after playing it I have changed up the deck some based on play experience as well as some suggestions from other players. Am currently trying two Mutavaults in the land base to make up a little bit for my lack of creatures. I'm also losing one Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver and adding in two Jace, Architect of Thought to help a little with card drawing. Switched up the creature base some, putting in some Omenspeakers in place of the Artisan of Forms and losing one Shipwreck Singer. Sideboard has be redesigned to help play against my local meta; Pithing Needle to help shut down planeswalkers and added in some additional counter magic. Doom Blade is nice, cheaper-than-Hero's Downfall removal that targets, so I can immediately get rid of annoying creatures instead of having to weed out the weenie creatures before I force them to sac the real threat. As usual, any additional feedback is appreciated.
