Competitive Xiahou Dun Stax Control

Enchantment and Artifact heavy combo control deck

Unlike some Xiahou Dun decks, mine isn't solely based on combo pieces but also offers very quick tempo hovering around draw cantrips and artifact heavy mana bases. I find it plays more consistent rather than drawing those larger wonky combo pieces that just don't do anything on their own. I kept the cmc as low as possible for more consistent play.

Combos:

Bloodchief Ascension + Death Cloud

All lands, hands, and creatures sent to the graveyard triggers Bloodchief Ascension each time causing your opponents to lose large amounts of life and giving it to you. No creatures, no lands? No problem. The deck revolves primarily around enchantment and artifact control.

Helm of Obedience + Leyline of the Void

Classic infinite mill one opponent per turn

Contamination + Bitterblossom

All lands now produce black mana for lockout. Can be completed with Bloodghast , Reassembling Skeleton , or Trading Post

Corpse Dance + Xiahou Dun, the One-Eyed

With our commander in the graveyard, Corpse Dance with it's buyback cost lets you reoccur Xiahou Dun, the One-Eyed to bring 1 black card back per 5 mana you have to spend (4B)

Basalt Monolith + Rings of Brighthearth

Creates infinite coloress mana

Cabal Coffers + Deserted Temple + Rings of Brighthearth

These three cards paired together with a minimum of 6 swamps, lets you net infinite black mana by copying the Deserted Temple on Cabal Coffers every time you activate Rings of Brighthearth
