Champion of the Parish
: The card that drives the deck. Left unchecked, this little guy is gonna deal tons of damage with every creature coming out. This means that on a good day, I'm summoning creatures, getting board presence and also buffing up a 1/1 indefinitely.
Thalia's Lieutenant
: The same case for Champion. Affects the board like no other card in this deck. Does the same thing as Champion, but also makes everything already out there stronger.
Mayor of Avabruck
: Really good lord that is relatively cheap and easy to cast. Does the job better that
Adaptive Automaton
or
Metallic Mimic
which were previously in this deck.
Eternal Witness
: In the deck to get
Collected Company
.
Student of Warfare
: Early board threat. Gonna be hard to deal with after getting to level 2. A stand-alone threat that commands attention offensively.
Lightning Berserker
: Essentially in here to get value for its Dash effect.
Champion of the Parish
and
Thalia's Lieutenant
can get indefinitely bigger with this card.
Silverblade Paladin
: Deals OD damage giving something else and itself double strike. A 3/3 Champion (for example) and a 2/2 Paladin both with double strike straight up sucks for anyone not me.
Kytheon, Hero of Akros
: Really strong one-drop that turns into a planeswalker really easily. Preventing Kytheon from flipping becomes a priority considering that this version of Gideon is a beast offensively.
Tireless Tracker
: Strong three-drop that draws me cards and buffs itself up. Essentially a strong threat by itself.
Knight of the White Orchid
: Essentially a mana dork, however it remains relevant even if I don't require mana as a 2/2 first striker is still tough to deal with. He's great if I don't need the mana, but he's even better if I do.
