This deck is just filled with ways to drain life, combo off, and protect oneself. The idea is to have the infinite combo of Duskmantle Guildmage + Mindcrank , but the bulk of the deck can be used for other things. Yes, the deck puts itself on a timer. This, I admit, as Maralen of the Mornsong tends to get a little dangerous. However, the combo shell alone is, in itself, a lifedrain. Creeping Tar Pit, Invisible Stalker, and Dimir Infiltrator are all unable to be blocked, for example. Liliana of the Veil has an incredible ultimate that can win the game. Maralen of the Mornsong can make cocky Soul Sisters players burn out, especially if you have the ability to counter their Martyr of Ashes + Serra Ascendant . Jund players bleed dry with all of their own fetches and Dark Confidants. Please give this deck a try?
