Sideboard

Tribal Elf beatdown deck. Basic go-wide strategy and Shaman of the Pack as an alternate win-con.

The synergy between Dwynen's Elite + Heritage Druid make for some very interesting and fast plays, as you are able to cast a lord (or sometimes your entire hand) on turn 2. Do I even have to mention Heritage Druid + Nettle Sentinel ..? Tapping your Elvish Archdruid for a turn 3 Collected Company while having your lands available and creatures untapped, ready for combat, is very satisfying.

The deck is extremely explosive when played right, but early removal spells can really mess up our gameplan. We need to keep our mana dorks alive because of the low land count and the creatures' dependency on each other to function properly. That is why Heroic Intervention really excels in this deck post-board. Being able to stop a sweeper has won me many games, as tapping out for a sweeper with no effect mostly means game over for our opponent.

The biggest weakness is that the deck is extremely sensitive to early removal and hand disruption, especially if you keep a one land opening hand. Control-type decks tend to be the worst matchup, but the deck does really well against combo decks and Affinity.

One thing that I have noticed is that the deck is fairly good at grinding, contrary to what you would think - especially after sideboarding.

You shouldn't expect to win many tournaments with this deck, unfortunately, but it's really fun to play and it's great and very satisfying to see the board filled with 10-15 of your creatures on turn 4 with only one land in play.
