I've got Day of Judgment in, because that makes three different wraths and a Snapcaster Mage that I can search up and still have two to use. Unless you've got a Damnation to trade me, I'm gonna keep the count the same. :P
And I do have two Thoughtseize in the sideboard in case they bring in Rest in Peace . What happens against that card is I side out Gifts, and just become a 4-color creature control.

Lookin' good. Maybe some Halimar Depths ? Just one or two I was thinking. I think you need the land you've got, but if you find that you draw more than you typically need even with fetches, maybe Gitaxian Probe would help?
Looks fun either way!

Thirst for Knowledge , Forbidden Alchemy , Gifts Ungiven and to an extent, Snapcaster Mage all net me extra cards in my hand. Thanks for the suggestions, though, and yeah, it really is fun to play!
Do you by any chance have MWS?

Hey there BLEATH! We got your message and of course we'll try to help with the sideboard. We love helping where we can, but we're sure you have a better grasp on Gifts decks than we do :)
That being said, you have AWESOME colors for a Modern sideboard. White far and away is the best sideboard color, green has some great choices, and black and blue can be useful too.
Obviously, you already know how good Leyline of Sanctity , Thoughtseize , and Hurkyl's Recall can be; so we won't rehash those. We'll list out a few cards and some quick reasoning behind each one and you can. We're basing the suggestions on what takes care of the top decks in the meta rather than kind of a "transitional" type sideboard. Here goes:
Nature's Claim - This is an important card for you as a lot of people will be siding in either Rest in Peace , Relic of Progenitus , Grafdigger's Cage and/or some other form of graveyard hate for you. This gives you a cheap way to destroy either an artifact OR an enchantment (which nearly all graveyard hate is) and is also simply great against a multitude of other cards/decks (Affinity especially, etc.). A lot of people are playing Choke now too which could hurt you; so this is a very good card for your sideboard.
Boseiju, Who Shelters All - This could be good for you against control builds. Since a large portion of your deck is made of instances and sorceries (with some being pretty important to make sure they resolve); Boseiju could be a strong card to side in against control decks. Even as just a one-of; could prove to be a strong addition in what would turn out to be a somewhat slow match anyways.
Spellskite - Again, this is pretty darn versatile. Turns off Splinter Twin as you can move the ability to spellskite, destroys Boggles (Aura Hexproof) because you can move every aura to Spellskite, You can move all of the damage from Red Deck Wins to Spellskite one bolt at a time, etc. It's pretty darn good.
Eidolon of Rhetoric - This is a great new Rule of Law type card. It slows numerous decks WAY down. Shuts off Storm, greatly hurts Red Deck Wins, slows down Affinity, Zoo, etc. Basically this just slows really fast decks down and allows you to play one big sorcery on your turn and one big instant on theirs :)
Damping Matrix - This is a great card that effects a good amount of the top-tier Modern decks that doesn't appear to effect you much at all (as all of your creatures have triggered abilities and Birds of Paradise 's activated ability is a mana ability). This shuts off Pod, greatly affects Affinity (turns off half of their creatures ability), turns off Kiki-Jiki and Splinter Twin (as one uses an activated ability and the other grants an activated ability), etc....truly awesome card that can't be used in a ton of decks (because a lot of people have creatures or artifacts with activated abilities...but you don't!) I like this card a lot and run it in every single deck I can because it effects Pod, Affinity, and Twin (which make up a HUGE portion of the meta).
Beast Within - This is a great "Catch All" removal spell. It can get rid of a Tron Land, a pesky planeswalker, a huge creature, any land you don't like, an enchantment you hate, an artifact like Relic or Torpor Orb that can bother your deck. It's just all in all great removal. While Beast Within give your opponent a 3/3 creature; you have a lot of removal and plenty of ways to out pace a 3/3.
There are other great sideboard cards (like Ghostly Prison , Rest in Peace , Damnation , Anger of the Gods , Torpor Orb , etc. however they either (a) are not needed given your main board or (b) negatively effect your deck in such a way that you would never run them. ). The above cards, along with some of the current cards you know you want to use like Leyline of Sanctity , Thoughtseize , etc., as well as cards you know come in under certain circumstances (i.e. Wurmcoil Engine . Sundering Titan , etc. which we don't know it's exact use but most likely has great uses in Gifts decks....
Hopefully this helps a little. Like we said; you know much more about Gifts decks than we do (so we could be wrong on a couple options) and of course you have to choose what's best for the meta you play in (and as the meta shifts); but these seem to be some great options for your deck in the current meta.
Great deck btw! +1 of course

Hehe, I tried to +1 again--forgot I already did. Well, +1 again!

@CurdBrosBrewingCo first off...WOW. I never expected such a thorough breakdown! There are so many cards I hadn't even considered, like Boseiju, Who Shelters All . I really like having the option to get my Gifts Ungiven to stick.
Nature's Claim , yes, I've been thinking about that for a while and it seems to give me more potency G2 and 3, depending on the GY hate they bring in. Instead of Damping Matrix , what do you think of Stony Silence ? Against, affinity, all turns of the game matter. Though I suppose you can pump it out T2 with birds anyways.
Eidolon of Rhetoric is interesting. Seems like it could come in over Phyrexian Metamorph any day.
And lastly, the Wurmcoil Engine and Sundering Titan were both for tribal or non-tribal zoo decks. I really hate those darn things. Other than that, they served almost no functionality. Guess I've got some SB tweaking to do. Thanks loads for your input!
@emask If you could +1 this deck more than once...I'd have this be a top deck in no time!

Souped up Melira Pod deck that doesn't run a sac outlet? Seems more like a bad Pod deck.
However, Pod does have a difficult time with the Elesh Norn. But they bring in some good hate post board and make it very tough to fight through.

@iamacasual, he did have one Viscera Seer and a Cartel Aristocrat for sac outlets.

Need Urborg, tomb of yawgmoth for the pile of; Urborg, loam, ravens crime and tech edge

Yeah, I've been trying to get my hands on one. Thanks for the suggestion!

Now that you have access to Banishing Light , I'd consider running a 3 O-Ring package, fetching Oblivion Ring , Detention Sphere , Banishing Light , and Eternal Witness .
May 27, 2014 1:16 a.m.
Ooh, I like the sound of that. I've already got 3 packages MB (Considering taking out the board wipe for discard package) and can't really fit any more in. Do you think any one of the packages would be worth replacing?
May 27, 2014 1:24 a.m.
Consider Sigarda, Host of herons.. she's essentially unkillable.. Also you might want 1 or 2 more land

I actually think that cutting 2 of the Detention Sphere s to make room for the other 2 would work. Doesn't take up any more slots, and adds a package that you can get if you need to get rid of something big.

You also generally don't run more than 1 unburial rites in this deck
May 27, 2014 3:58 p.m.
I generally like the count of 3x Unburial Rites , though I may go down depending on how testing goes.
@NotSoLuckyLydia, I really like that suggestion! I'll switch it up right now.
May 27, 2014 6:03 p.m.
I don't like the look of 3 rites either. I can understanding having an extra as a backup plan, but 3 just seems unnecessary.
Cool list though :)
May 28, 2014 2:40 a.m.
Yeah, I only have two big things to reanimate. That was pretty silly of me. xD

I think you need to take this Day of Judgment for one more Wrath of God is just better, second is you don't have many good win coins vs Rest in Peace & all like this. For better win coin save i think you need to use Thoughtseize / Inquisition of Kozilek or both.
