What this deck does, is it gets out Griselbrand as early as possible. This is done by discarding him and moving him from the graveyard onto the battlefield. He can be discarded using
Lightning Axe
, Faithless Looting or simply by not doing anything for the first turn and discarding him due to having 8 cards in your hand. However, this is the worst approach. You can then bring him back using Goryo's Vengeance or
Footsteps of the Goryo
. However, if you use Footsteps, you will need to use
Crimson Wisps
to give him haste. Then, you just attack, draw 14 cards, play
Fury of the Horde
by discarding two red cards, attack again, do that again, and attack the final time.
Some useful things are:
Simian Spirit Guide is good if you need extra mana but you do not have any lands.
Apostle's Blessing is extremely useful to protect yourself against things like Path to Exile or Doom Blade (if you played
Crimson Wisps
).
Time of Need
is very nice for fetching Griselbrand if you do not draw him in time.
Turn one win is possible, but highly unlikely. You can work out for yourself how to do it. :D
