What does ninja's mean? haha.
It actually started as a U/B/W deck but kept getting mana screwed on a budget. I had Ghostly Prison and Windborn Muse in there to start out with lol. But I had to take out W cuz of the mana situation. Both of those cards sound awesome and the Defense Grid is brutal vs the control matchup,
The Icy Manipulator is good because it can tap a potential beater if they are getting through the War Tax and Propaganda .

haha yeah, Nether Void would be absolutely devestating and buy you a ton of time. I would give it deep consideration for sure.

Gameover209X, your more of my brother's generation (even though that's only 4 years a part), lol. Ninja'd means we were both responding and out of no where (like a ninja!) you snuck your own response in before mine. You'll notice people saying it in the Q&A when answering questions over one another or some of the forums. Its funny sometimes. I've seen 5 people post once at the same time, then they all responded "ninja'd" and such simultaneously again. It was hilarious. They were all commenting over and over again and laughing. It's funny when it happens.

gotta say, the deck is pretty cool, I haven't played a build like this before but I've been kicking the idea round, but from the looks of all the comments and the description, it's a wort while endeavor. My one suggestion that I'm PRETTY sure I haven't seen mentioned and isn't in the listed main or maybe boards is Frost Titan
makes for some control, if they try to get rid of him he makes then tap to even do it, which usually bc of the land corruption they wont even try to lose that life, which means more beats from the titan.
Over all pretty beastly, once I make something like this I might be able make useful comments +1

@ Dreno33 & Gameover209X -- Have either of you considered making an EDH deck along these lines? It'd be more of a casual build, but I think it'd be a hell of a lot of fun to play. I'm thinking of Sen Triplets , Oloro, Ageless Ascetic , or Dromar, the Banisher as a commander. Maybe even Zur? Too bad Derevi is Bant rather than Esper...
I'll try check out the budget one later!
April 8, 2014 4:59 p.m.
The_Fool That's a really cool idea. It's a bit on the expensive side for casting (and with the new addition of Nether Void I find it hard I'll ever cast it, lol. But being able to hold down the opponent's big creature (or in legacy, usually only creature) or a land would be beast while I keep swinging. That's a toughy. I'll put it in the maybe board for now. Great suggestion!
Also, I'm glad you really like it. I feel it can become actually competitive, ESPECIALLY because I've noticed legacy Sideboards don't have any extra answers for it other than the counter spells they already have. So this deck can REALLY shine once it is fine-tuned some more
April 8, 2014 5 p.m.
ducttapedeckbox not really because the heart of the deck is holding three playsets of essentially the same card. In edh, people usually have a plentiful number of cards and many run Strip Mine , Wasteland , Ghost Quarter , etc. to destroy the ONE Rishadan Port we can have. I feel it would become too inconsistent to base it off of that concept. plus people run lots of enchantment/artifact removal for those OP cards that can change the game. sorry I'm can of badgering your idea but by all means, Oloro (esper in general) is the perfect card for pillow fort madness and you have SOOOOOO many options out there. I would love to see it when its up and help ya out with it!

That is all very true. Maybe along the lines of punishing them for any action taken (pinging for drawing, tapping a land, increasing the cost of cards, etc.). I won't have time to delve into this more for a few weeks, but I'll let you know if I attempt it!
April 8, 2014 5:17 p.m.
Hey ducttapedeckbox do you like the sound of splashing a little green to add Argothian Enchantress . It has shroud which is perfect plus I draw a ton of cards! Or I could just run Enchantress's Presence since a second casted would draw me a card. However, it cost one more. Although! it doesn't force me to pay 1 mana during my upkeep with the tabernacle or mists.
Also, green would open up the option of possible running Vexing Shusher for all the countering shenanigans in Legacy.
CurdBrosBrewingCo, I ALREADY know you like this idea, lol. So which would you suggest I add and more importantly, what it will replace?
April 8, 2014 7:01 p.m.
OOOOOOOHH, one more. Zur's Weirding . It is so evil! I will pay 2 life so they discard every single counter spell! (that is, if they don't counter it . . . )

I like the enchantment more. I think the creatureless aspect of this deck is one factor that really makes it stand out, and I'd avoid changing that. You also have a lot of enchantments that fill the 2-drop slot, so the 3-drop enchantment wouldn't be too bad I don't think.
April 8, 2014 8:22 p.m.
ducttapedeckbox - ya I agree and changed it already(: I just beat a Goblin Legacy Deck 2 / 3 games by locking him down perfectly. his AEther Vial was a bit annoying though, but it didn't matter b/c I pulled The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale and he had 5 creatures with 3 lands, one of which had 3 enchantments on it. He was mad.

AdiosRhystic Study huh? I like the splash of green. Hunted Phantasm would be funny. I've always wanted to keep it creatureless so I never considered any haha. You are pushing 5grand of cardboard here haha nice job.

Dude, once the draw enchantment hits this deck soars
April 8, 2014 10:18 p.m.
Gameover209X - hahaha, I never thought of it that way. 5 grand of cardboard. LMAO
oooo Hunted Phantasm is awesome. But I do like the fact this is a creature less deck too(:
And i know, it explodes when that green woman hits the field.

Definitely like the deck :) I do agree that the blue draw spells, or counterspells, would help a lot. Maybe in the sideboard in case your locks can't get out in time? Also, I feel Chalice of the Void might be good, set to 1 or 0 against storm decks and the like. Can really slow the opponent down and allow you to set up your prison. Might be a sideboard card too. +1 from me
April 9, 2014 7:21 a.m.
fadetoblack1183 ya I really liked Chalice of the Void when you played it on me. You set it to one and I couldn't help but to laugh ;) but you didn't know hahah. That card would do well most likely.
I will have to disagree on the draw spells though. Having a more permanent, recurring draw is more vital to this deck.
And it being comprised of mostly enchantments gives the power to play Enchantress's Presence and "soar" as Gameover209X describes it.
Jace, the Mind Sculptor is the other powerhouse of card draw in here netting me a Brainstorm every turn. I even like to use his +2 in Legacy matches to pull it out of reach from a Lightning Bolt and make sure the opponent doesn't top deck either a Wasteland or counterspell. Everything else I am pretty ok with leaving there.

Wow man, i like curds have not stuck my next into the woods of legacy much. I love the card search engine you use and i did bookmark that for future use. So precise. +1 from me on this madness. I nearly fainted when i saw the cost of this deck. Decks like this shouldn't exist, they are just too cruel.
April 11, 2014 8:37 a.m.
BattleWalrus What's funny is that I win about 40/60 against Delver decks in legacy(:Not to be a pest, but what does your first sentence mean? lol
April 11, 2014 11:46 a.m.
I play a very similar deck to yours but I have a problem. In my surroundings you can come across cards like Azorius Chancery and consorts. This lands can handle our land-enchantments in special when they can switch two of them. Seems very slowly but prevent that we can collect more and more of them. Im testing to compensate this with Ankh of Mishra or Polluted Bonds but it doesnt really fits. Do you have any suggests for my problem?
For your deck i can really recommend Bloodchief Ascension . Its a nice one-drop and should be charged up easily. Then its beautyful against most sorts of deck, because of the "from anywhere". That includes also dregde and makes a Lightning Bolt not thaaaats awesome :)Also something to think about is Dissipation Field in order to protect you against shooter like Brimstone Mage
April 22, 2014 4:21 p.m.
Emphroy - Thank you for the suggestions!
Yes, I can totally see those Azorius Chancery -type lands being a problem. However, I play this deck in Legacy and no one runs them since they have access to fetches and original duel (like me). So for this deck, I do not need the support against that. The only issue I ever have is Daze ing their enchanted island. Usually the only thing I cast on islands are Contaminated Ground to ruin the Daze .
Bloodchief Ascension is a good option. I currently have no T1 options still and this bad boy can be useful. The only thing is I don't run removal other than The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale and Pendrell Mists . It may or may not be a good option to add. Control decks however may be pretty good to add against. Every counter spell automatically extorts 2 for me as well as the 4 Swords to Plowshares and Lightning Bolt s. Yes, they love hitting my 2 Creeping Tar Pit s.
Dissipation Field is not very necessary in Legacy. Not many creatures in most decks and if against reanimator I usually die once hit, haha.

Emphroy, try splashing white for some Replenish if your meta is getting adept at land bouncing.
Cheers.

@Gameover209X: That could work thanks man!

SOOOOOO, guess what. I have found a very mean, and actually very attractive and quite feasible card: Nether Void . THREE extra mana. I will gladly spend that mana with my 25 lands.
Another cool card i noticed was Disruptive Pitmage for more of a one-sided effect.
