By request from The_2ndpanda, here is my take on Thromok the Insatiable.

In my ongoing endeavor to bring frugality to Commander, each card in this deck is under $2 and the whole deck is under $40 (not including the commander). If you like what you see, UPVOTE! or you can check out all my other $40 budget decks. If you see some areas of improvement, let me know what you'd change. Just make sure all suggested cards are under $2.

The Strategy

1) Hit some ramp

2) Get a few token producers on the field

3) Cast Thromok the Insatiable and feed his appetite

4) Swing for the commander damage win or Fling him at someone to finish them off

The Win Cons

1) Commander damage

2) Burn from Fling effects

3) Token army perhaps buffed with Beastmaster Ascension or Overwhelming Stampede
