I only have 1x Mountain and 1x Swamp . So I only need 1x Bloodstained Mire . Most of my red mana comes from the Mana Confluence s and Nomad Outpost s, so I only have it in there to increase my consistency by just a tad.

Of course I won 2-1... :P
After playing some games with the deck how much does Chief of the Scale pull its weight. A hard to cast 2/3 for 2 doesn't feel like where we want to be. I get the warrior theme, and think Chief of the Edge is great, but every time Chief of the Scale was cast I breathed a sigh of relief. It seems like it would be much better suited as a more individually powerful threat like Goblin Rabblemaster.

Goblin Rabblemaster is crap. Sorry, not going back to that shit again.

Or even something like Herald of Torment. They are numerous things I'd rather cast. A 2/3 for 2 doesn't cut it, and I've found his buff to do little to nothing.

I ended up cutting Chief of the Scale from my deck Mardu Chiefs . He just didn't do much. I replaced Goblin Rabblemaster with Timely Hordemate; Rabblemaster's tokens were killed far too easily, but Hordemate's trigger brings back relevant creatures like Chief of the Edge. The one extra mana is worth it IMO.
Also, if you're looking for a great two drop, I replaced Borderland Marauder with War-Name Aspirant. Her toughness may be conditional, but she's just a much better blocker on the field if it is needed.
Just some things I've done with my similar build. It may not work for everyone, but it sure does work for me.

Okay, I've taken what tooTimid and cardsgrinder has said into consideration and removed Chief of the Scale for Gods Willing. After seeing it in action in jeskai decks and heroic decks, I really wanted to use it. Basically, my idea for Chief of the Scale was to help make my creatures survive a little more in blocks and attacks, but Gods Willing does this so much better as it stops removal dead in its tracks, making even control more favourable.
I'll get to the description and updates ... sometime this month x.x

I think you're required to make room for Hordeling Outburst.

I use Spear of Heliod over Hordeling Outburst for one reason and one reason alone JexInfinite: Easier to cast. This deck focuses really heavily on being able to play sleigh style, having something come out with a cmc relevant to its turn. I can't go turn 2 Seeker of the Way into turn 3 Hordeling Outburst as much as I can go turn 2 Seeker of the Way into Spear of Heliod. Double red cmc spells are REALLY hard to cast, and sure while it is powerful, it doesn't have any power if it can't come out on the turn it is supposed to.

That is a very fair reason to not include it. Any reason for Master of the Feast in the sideboard over Herald of Torment, which can trigger prowess if bestowed?

Master of the Feast is excellent against Jeskai flyers, mardu flyers, and puts the beat down on abzan, mono-G and BG really quickly before they can get their whip plus rhino out. Abzan lacks good flyers afterall.

I really like this deck. I'm not sure if you intended on updating this with fate reforged, but how about Valorous Stance in replace of gods willing?

It's 2 cmc is what I really don't like rhelme92. I've already updated it with the only card viable for this deck, and that is Brutal Hordechief. What the card probably will be doing is going into the sideboard, replacing some of the more fringe stuff.

I just finished a FNM with my B/W Warriors Deck which I think is probably similar to what you started out with. I did great against aggro decks, but lost against Sultai control. Do you think this deck would fare better against them? Either way I already ordered the missing cards I need to make a copy of this deck and give it a try. +1 from me.

Don't know. All I really see is UB and UW control. I don't play this deck anymore PhantomWang.

feel like mardu charm could be in place of raise the alarm, because it has more options. if you dont have a butcher turn 4 and you need to get rid of somthing its perfect and it has discard effects, or if you need two warriors to sack to butcher its perfect. oblisk of urd is war beter than spear, it night take longer to cast but when you do its almost a win condition with the amount of tokens you can create.

If you look at my current 3 cmc slot, it is overly laden with stuff, especially in the sideboard. If you look at my 4 cmc slot, it is the highest in the mainboard. I need to be able to cast things consistently, and a 1W spell is much easier to cast in conjunction with other spells. Mardu Charm may be more powerful, but Raise the Alarm is far more consistent and much more faster. It allows me a turn 2 play if I don't have Seeker of the Way, and that is important.

It's Kind of Ironic that your title for the deck is "Edge and Scale, bring forth the victory but you have neither Scale or Edge in this decklist. Also, you might want to stack up Brutal Hordechief and maybe put in Ajani's Pridemate as the life- gain triggers separately making pridemate into a complete tank.
kagemaro9200 says... #1
Why only 1x Bloodstained Mire if may I ask? It should be easier with more of them to provide certain mana that You need...
