A control deck based on Codie. Since your commandant prevents you from casting permanent spells, there is almost none of them in the deck.

You are the control player at the table : you do the policeman all around (counterspells, wraths, removal, etc), sticking Codie around and generating value, until you get your wincon in hand.

But what is your wincon? Enchant Codie with Freed from the Real, the only permanent spell in the deck. But since Codie prevents you from playing it, you'll have to find a tricky way to get it. There are two of them in the deck :

• Wargate at X=3. Put Freed from the Real on the battlefield enchanting Codie.

• Genesis Storm. Since you have Codie on the field when you cast it, your opponents will have to counter at least two spells.

When Codie is enchanted, start the combo:

1. Use 4 mana and activate Codie's ability, adding WUBRG and a "suspending cascade".

2. Pay U to untap Codie. You have 4 mana remaning. Use them to tap Codie again.

3. Repeat. You get an infinite amount of "suspending cascade" on your next spell.

4. Cast a spell from you hand to play all the cards in the deck with lesser mana value.

There is Approach of the Second Sun in it, because everyone needs an alternative wincon.
