A WIP Database for all the most used and most powerful spells to add, complete with reasons why they're good. All suggestions welcome!

(Note: I am currently working through the EDHREC Top Cards list as I have time.)

Necropotence is a high power card that should be considered in any deck that can consistently get . It is often used a lot like Ad Nauseam , but it's a bit slower as you have to wait until your next turn to combo in most situations.
AdNaus is best run alongside rituals such as Dark Ritual and a very low curve. Most of the time, the player who resolves an AdNaus first wins.
In higher power games, Doxxy nets you at least 3 Treasures. It consistently gets you 5.
A better Yawgmoth's Will . Effective as both a way to recur important spells and combo off.
The pinnacle of free counterspells. Seen more often at higher power tables due to the stigma around countermagic and the price tag.
The classic permission spell. Best used in decks with 3 or fewer colors due to the requirement. Doesn't see much play in cEDH due to the speed of the highest powered decks, but it's very solid in tuned or casual pods.
A powerful cEDH tool used to protect your combo.
The best removal spell in EDH. The life is almost always irrelevant, so it's to delete target scary thing.
1 mana ramp? Yes please. Outside of fast mana, dorks are the best way to get lots of mana early.
I thought these were just slow for a long time, and then I grabbed two Island s when I needed the double blue and I can't imagine playing mid-power EDH without them.
These cards will be added as soon as I have time to write descriptions for them:
