My real life cEDH GAAIV stax deck. Although this is more geared towards 1v1 it can also lock entire tables with a well times stasis or winter orb, just make sure to use your counterspells sparingly and only counter spells that truly hurt you. Deck can be heavily modified for a 4man pod, if it gets requested I can post my 4man deck also.

As to how the deck works or how to use it, point is to get GAAIV out by turn 2 latest making them hard to ramp to their important spells. After this you want to drop a 2nd stax piece like thalia, sphere or thorn and a win con usually a planeswalker, to secure the win. If the opportunity presents itself lock down the table with a winter orb or even better a stasis+ teferi or venser or forsaken city until you can get to your wincon.

This deck will win you many games but I'll be honest when saying it won't make you any friends in the table and probably you will be hated and killed first every game after the first one. So I would say just time your locks correctly.
