Edric-centered late game powerhouse deck.

The deck in general is based around drawing a lot of cards, and eventually getting to a point where I can get out my super strong creatures and just overwhelm the opponent.

I love the control/drawing of blue, combined with the raw power/mana-ramp of green, and this combo seems to be my personal favorite deck color combination that I have played so far.

The deck has a relatively slow start, but my General, Edric, Spymaster of Trest is there to help it ramp up a bit faster. I have had games where my opponent has gotten me down to below 5 health before, and all of a sudden, my deck has "kicked on", and came back and won within 2 or 3 turns before.

Some notable combos/descriptions:

Dreadwaters is what I feel is the most out-of-place looking card, to someone that hasn't seen the combo at work. This is an example of a real game that I played once.

Turns 1 - 4: Play lands, with some random defensive/draw cards and one Ranger's Path thrown in. (totaling 6 lands by the end of turn 4).

Turn 5: Play one more land, play Boundless Realms giving myself 14 (tapped) lands on the field.

Turn 6: Land, play Archaeomancer (returning Boundless Realms back to my hand)(could also be done with Eternal Witness as a replacement for Archaeomancer), play Boundless Realms (again) giving me a total of 30 lands on the field.

Turn 7: Land, play Dreadwaters targeting ME (milling 31 cards from my library), play Praetor's Counsel giving myself almost 40 cards in my hand (and no maximum hand size), play Omniscience, playing all of the draw cards in my hand (potentially having over half my deck in my hand at this point), playing my entire hand at once (or at least most of it, minus lands, which I probably don't have many of, as most of them are on the field already).

One of those cards was Akroma's Memorial, giving all my creatures all those effects. I swung over 200 damage at my opponent by turn 7 that game.

I realize that it would be highly irregular to get all those cards that early, and that an opponent could counter many of those spells, but the point still stands that it is POSSIBLE to do, and in fact did happen that game. I have pulled off similar combos with Dreadwaters / Praetor's Counsel many times with this deck, that is just the best example of what it CAN do.

Will update this with more combos as I get time.
