This is a basic B/R Minotaurs deck intended to not be too horribly expensive, based on AbsoluteMTG's budget Minotaurs. br minotaur As such, I'm not sure about the Blood Crypts. That's one reason why I don't have Boros Reckoner in there. The other reason is I'm not sure I can get RRR that consistently.

As you can see I've increased the black, swapping out Fanatic of Mogis for a 1-drop, and added one more creature and one more land. I did that to cut down on mulligans, which IMO were too frequent with the original deck.

Another thing I'm questioning is Searing Blood . It's a great card, but it's a little less versatile than Magma Jet and I like the scry 2.

Speaking of which I wanted to try Read the Bones . I like it in Golgari so I want to see how it works here. I like being able to dig up to 4 cards into my deck so I'm sure to get something useful. I really wanted at least some card draw and this seemed easier on the mana and wallet than Underworld Connections.
