Pharika's Cure is kind of meh, it doesn't do much as a removal spell, it's barely noticeable as lifegain, at best it could side against some kind of burn/aggro thing, maybe I'll think about it for that once I've gone to an fnm or two to see what's popular around my meta.

Nyx Weaver I considered, but really I don't have enough graveyard interaction to make it very good for me, it's better with jarad and friends in the mix, when things being in the graveyard is going to be quite positive, not just mana dumps. My goal is more to throw what I find useless there with the trolls and rats and repurpose it to draws.

thanks for the suggestions though

I feel like you almost NEED Courser of Kruphix here, but the deck is definitely powerful!

if I could afford Courser of Kruphix I would, but the 10 dollar card I would want a playset of it too much. Maybe if the price drops significantly I'll be able to get it.

I hear that -- but ya don't always have to buy them. just keep your eye out for people who might have 1 or 2 for trade whenever you make it out to the shop or an event! if you CAN end up acquiring them, it'll make a huge difference I think.

The question I always have for people concerning the courser is why you didn't pick up as many as you could when they were like 2 bucks? I traded for every copy I could get ahold of because it was obviously an amazing card.

When they were cheaper I wasn't looking at anything competitive in standard and now it's a bit too late for "if only I had..."

Understandable I guess. I don't know, I just look for cards like that when a set comes out. I don't even have a deck with green in it, but I have like 8 coursers for those just in case times. It was a card that I knew would be a staple in like every green deck going forward. I wasn't ragging on you. I just always wondered why people never saw the value in that card when it was 2 bucks.

I'm looking at your reasonings for the cards you chose and I'm wondering if you considered trying out Erebos's Emissary instead of the pack rats. It works like the troll's ability where you can discard for free and, since you're playing Extinguish All Hope it'll survive your board wipe too. Just trying to think of cheap options for you.

I didn't think about Erebos's Emissary but I like that he's an enchantment. It might be weird that he's fighting for 4-drop but then he can just be bestowed. I'll definitely try him out and see how he works. I also like that he stays around post rotation. Thanks for the thoughts

Does it run smoothly enough with just 22 lands? I would be concerned about getting stuck on 3 mana for too many turns. Besides that, it looks really awesome. I like your Grim Guardian , but I couldn't figure out how to get it into my version of the deck. Check it out and let me know what you think: Ravnica-Theros-M14 Enchantress Rock

22 lands has been smooth enough for me, if it gives me problems today I'll go to 24 for next week's FNM. Today is going to be my first time doing anything outside of casual with it, so we'll see.
