I thought the same thing NensouHiebara. I know you made the switch to Eight-and-a-Half-Tails already, while I've stuck with Kemba. He's clearly replacing her as my general... it's not even a question at this point.

Too many comments to read through, was Shimmer Myr ever discussed? (Or Vedalken Orrery for that matter.) Flash casting your Sensei's Divining Top or Steel Hellkite seems good.

Vedalken Orrery was back when Kemba was the Commander. With Eight-and-a-Half-Tails at the helm, I've been holding back mana more often. Perhaps I should reconsider them.

How's your draw power in this deck? I run Mask of Memory in my Sigarda voltron deck. and it generally does good work for me.
Also, how do you feel about Angel of Serenity ? It's really good pseudo-removal and provides a fat body and devotion for Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx .

Card draw engines: Land Tax + Scroll Rack , Sword of Fire and Ice , Mikokoro, Center of the Sea , Puresteel Paladin , Staff of Nin
Other sources of card draw: Trading Post , Solemn Simulacrum , Sensei's Divining Top
My draw power is fine. One I have one of my engines out, my hand is kept full. Although, I'm cutting Staff of Nin for space, as it's the most expensive engine in the deck and a few of the others are more easily tutored. I'm also trying out Secluded Steppe and Drifting Meadow to give the deck extra filtering. I don't have any interest in running Mask of Memory . I don't feel I need it and I want to keep the majority of my Equipment to provide power boosts.
Angel of Serenity was in this deck before. She is a great card and I should find a spot for her again.

Sword of War and Peace as well as Sword of Body and Mind to finish out your collection of swords that would be awesome on Eight-and-a-Half-Tails . Lightning Greaves , Skullclamp , Whispersilk Cloak , Sword of Vengeance , Nim Deathmantle and Deathrender should would also be strong considerations, while some may not be great for your strategy. Also, those Plains should be the Zendikar ones, with the set abbreviation ZEN.

I'm not a huge fan of the other two Swords. Sword of War and Peace 's lifegain and damage are very lackluster without everybody drawing a lot of cards. Sword of Body and Mind 's mill is near useless in this deck and give free fuel to graveyard-based strategies.
I don't use Lightning Greaves and Whispersilk Cloak because I hate shroud. It's an absolute pain in the ass when I'm stuck with one creature and it has shroud. I'm unable to equip it with anything else. Burning mana just to move Cloak around also sucks.
Skullclamp is not a great fit for this deck. I barely have any cards that work well with it and sticking Clamp on a 2+ toughtness creature in the hopes that it dies isn't a sound strategy.
Sword of Vengeance and been in and out of this deck a few times. It's a great card, but due to it's similarities with Helm of Kaldra it gets cut first. I may put it back in some day.
Nim Deathmantle is a neat card. Never really thought about using it. I may give it a try.
I have no interest in Deathrender . This deck has no real use of the death trigger and the +2/+2 by itself isn't enough.
I could set the Plains to the Zendikar full-arts, even though the actual Plains of the deck are Dragon's Maze promos.

Have you though about using Fated Retribution in place of Planar Cleansing it costs one more but it's instant speed and it lets you scry if you play it on our turn plus it can hit planeswalkers

I have thought about that exact swap ever since Fated Retribution was spoiled. I'm not liking the idea of having a second sweeper that costs 7, but it's a better than Planar Cleansing for killing Planeswalkers.

I am having a problem with card drawing, and I cannot afford Scroll Rack is there anything else you would advise? Could you also advise me what I can do for mana ramping? I already have a Sol Ring Opaline Unicorn and Burnished Hart anything else you would suggest?

There's no proper substitute to Scroll Rack . Credit Voucher comes close if you have ways to recur it. There's also regular card draw engines: Staff of Nin and Mind's Eye . Mikokoro, Center of the Sea only takes up a land slot and keeps you hand from being empty.
Solemn Simulacrum is a good ramp option. Sculpting Steel can copy mana rocks if needed. Caged Sun is a great mana doubler. Weathered Wayfarer isn't ramp, but keeps you from falling behind and can tutor for nonbasics.

Never liked Leonin Shikari . Instant-speed equipping wasn't anything I found useful.
March 5, 2014 5:49 p.m.
Ok, maybe some of the Kor creatures? They're good w/equips. Also, Kemba, Kha Regent is powerful.

Most of the Kor with Equipment-matter abilities are too weak. Kemba, Kha Regent isn't as great in the 99 and this isn't a token deck.

Well I'm not really sure on the legality (but I'm pretty sure it fits the color identity rules) also I'm not sure what you could swap if you were to use it but Elbrus, the Binding Blade Flip might be a fun card to use
March 6, 2014 11:14 p.m.
jwe94: Withengar has a black colour identity, so it's illegal.
March 6, 2014 11:25 p.m.
Well technically he has no cost and Elbrus is colorless but idk I can't realy find any rulings

CrimsonWings3689 says... #23
jwe94: While Elbrus, the Binding Blade Flip is colorless as an equipment, the colored circle before "Legendary Creature - Demon" indicates the color identity of the transformed side of cards. Because it's black, this deck unfortunately can't use it.

Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite would help any white deck out in my opinion
March 13, 2014 9:28 a.m.
In a voltron deck, Elesh Norn is literally worse than a sweeper.
