unfortunately it is, every mana symbol in activation costs and stuff. The exception is on reminder texts (like, new "Extort" mechanics are out of this rule)

sorry just read by paragraph of text i ment to write a creature/instant/land that untaps an opponents creature. Also now that I think about it Puresteel Paladin and Leonin Shikari and a Pariah's Shield would make a good defense from other unblockable large swings that would otherwise kill you

I always go for a Commander swing when Kemba is out. She only needs to do 21 damage, regardless of anything. Every other creature has to drop opponents to 0, which is hindered by lifegain.
I'm not running Loxodon Punisher. He's just an Equipment-hog and has no noncombat utility.
Golem-Skin Gauntlets is bad. It's pump is dependent on other cards and it doesn't do enough.
Grappling Hook costs too much mana for double strike. It's force block isn't really useful as I don't want to be blocked and has negative synergy with protection.
Leonin Shikari wasn't useful for me. Instant-speed equipping is a very narrow ability and jumping Equipment around isn't what I want to be doing.
I had Expedition Map in before. I could add it back in to try it out again.
Pariah's Shield is bad. Costs way too much for an ability that needs other cards to be good.

Read down and saw your reasoning about Kitesail which is valid but have you ever considered Bladed Pinions? It doesn't give a pump and just flying IS bad but +first strike is good, oh so good, especially if you decide to run Quietus Spike. (Also goes well with Sword of Kaldra.)
I know Quietus Spike is expensive out and on but it's effect will seriously F up someone's day. It doesn't count as commander damage but it will take at least 19 off the top with just Kemba swinging, this makes it so the rest of your deck can finish that person off if you NEED to. (Dedicated Kemba hate for example.)

Not really interested in Equipment that give flying as there's plenty of ways to deal with fliers.
I'll consider adding Quietus Spike if I ever find room for more Equipment.

Fair enough, I was suggesting Bladed Pinions more because it provides two seperate, useful, effects one evasion and one first strike (a deterrent).
I hope you do find more space for equipments because I have seen a kemba player take 2 turns to wipe off 1 guy with just kemba, the spike, puresteel paladin and the tokens she made. It was really sad and brutal.

Just remember that Quietus Spike will not effect the amount of Commander Damage they need to take to lose. So I probably wouldn't recommend it for this deck since you are going for a general kill. I think you could add a much better equipment than that.

NensouHiebara says... #10
I know it doesn't contribute to Commander Damage. If Kemba is unavailable, my other creatures will need some sort of boost in order to deal with multiple 40+ life totals.

I mentioned that Archangel113, however that doesn't take away from the fact that it can work with Kemba alone for a kill in a matter of 2-3 turns for a kill of non general damage. Sometimes if someone has, for example, Sword of the Paruns + Thopter Foundry to block with later in the game that initial "Lose half" will put them so far behind that it becomes easy to finish them off with other means.
If you add something that can kill you outright on it's own that is good even if it doesn't count as general damage.

I think you are doing this wrong. If you are just going to use Kemba as a big creature than you are better off playing Isamaru. Kemba's ability to make a large amount of tokens is what makes her so good though. She always has blockers, doesn't care if she gets removed since there are always others to take up the sword, and scoffs at board wipes since if she is indestructible you will get another army next turn. For these reasons I do think Cathars' crusade is quite good for you. The turn after you play it Kemba will become a power house. Every equipment will net her an extra counter, and every token will be given counters equal to the number of equipment she has as well.I have played against many Kemba decks, and their most impressive weapons include Leonin Shikari, I don't know what this did in playtesting for you that it wasn't good, but sometimes you are better off moving equipment, especially greaves. Avacyn isn't very useful if she just draws a path and you can't protect her. These cards have been suggested to you repeatedly though and you have ignored them by just saying they are bad and useless though. So do what you want. When you are ready to be a good player try taking a few helpful suggestions.

Wow, could you be any more of a pretentious asshole? Maybe people don't wanna make cookie-cutter netdecks, you prick.

Just because I only want to swing with Kemba doesn't mean I'm doing this deck wrong. Like you said, Kemba creates blockers and emergency Equipment holders. She increases my board presence. Isamaru, Hound of Konda lacks said qualities and is just a vanilla dork.
The reason I don't run Cathars' Crusade is becasue Kemba is my only major source of tokens. Without Kemba, C. Crusade does nothing useful. Token decks want C. Crusade and I didn't build this deck to be one. C. Crusade also is a 5-mana enchantment. Nothing in my deck can recur it if destroyed.
When I have Equipment on the field, they stay on one creature and don't move until that creature dies or I play a better creature. I have no use for instant-speed equipping. Sure there's the combo with Lightning Greaves, but that's a 2-card combo. Mother of Runes does the same thing in one card for one mana and has functions beyond stifling spot removal. If you like Leonin Shikari or have a use for it, run it. I don't like it, which is why I dropped it, specifically for Grand Abolisher. Abolisher is more useful to me than Shikari. It was an easy cut.
"Dies to removal" is a terrible argument. If Avacyn, Angel of Hope eats a Path to Exile, so be it. That's one less removal spell killing a more relevant creature, such as Kemba or Stonehewer Giant. Also, not all decks run exile or tuck-based removal. An unanswered Avacyn can be brutal.
C. Crusade is a better fit in a dedicated token deck. Shikari is a better fit in a deck designed to have Equipment being thrown around. They're not bad, I just don't want to run them, nor do they fit my deck better than other cards.
I am taking in suggestions, just mainly the ones that can benefit my deck.

Wrath of God Day of Judgment Serra Ascendant Iona, Shield of Emeria. have you thought about Akroma, Angel of Wrath?
March 13, 2013 7:56 p.m.
NensouHiebara says... #18
Wrath of God and Day of Judgment, in my opionion, don't do enough. They cost less, but other sweepers have more utility.
Serra Ascendant and Akroma, Angel of Wrath are too basic. I want most of my creatures to have some noncombat relevance.
Iona, Shield of Emeria is a mean-spirited griefer card. I don't want to run it.
March 13, 2013 8:46 p.m.
What about anything darksteel? Darksteel Plate or Darksteel Forge?
March 15, 2013 10:51 p.m.
Well Darksteel Plate is in his deck and Darksteel Forge is pointless.
March 15, 2013 11:50 p.m.
NensouHiebara says... #21
Darksteel Plate is in my deck already.
Darksteel Forge is outclassed by Avacyn, Angel of Hope. Avacyn is cheaper in mana cost, makes everything indestructible, and can hold Equipment if the need arises.

That's a lot of artifacts for no Dispatch. I hope you like it. I'm also a big fan of Brass Squire and Indomitable Archangel
March 17, 2013 1:02 p.m.
NensouHiebara says... #24
I had all three of those cards in before.
I don't have any interest in re-adding Dispatch. I don't have any more space for spot removal.
Brass Squire was too slow and cumbersome.
Indomitable Archangel was dropped the second I discovered Fountain Watch. No metalcraft requirement and is recurable with Reveillark.

...Fair enough! Sweet Kemba build regardless, I just recently pulled one from a pack and I'm thinking about building an EDH deck around her too.+1
