I would recommend adding in some Snow-Covered Plains for the mirror match. It really gives you an edge.

This might be A Lot better in Tiny Leaders, it would not hurt to give him an extra artifact or two in the deck Like Ring of Thune or Explores Scope.

This deck, #1 mono-white budget deck worldwide, for an estimate of $14 you can literally build yourself a 1 shot deck :p brilliant

Quick, someone feature the deck before he updates it.

Oh man, this deck looks so fun to play, Profound Journey is pretty good I am considering it for my mono white as well :D

I've seen this deck a couple times over the last couple months but never +1'd until now. I love color change, and I love Eight-and-a-Half-Tails, and I love this deck. I just wanted to say that I agree with you about Kaldra; I've run the set in upwards of 30 games and only had the set out once. Sword of Kaldra is really only good for pingers and, as you noted, there are more efficient options for the other pieces.

In multilayer, how often are you able to pull out the win? I find that once I get going I start to get hated off the table by everyone.

April 11, 2015 10:22 p.m.

Have you thought about Godsend?

Caged Sun seems expensive compared to Extraplanar Lens or even Gauntlet of Power.

Why the rest in peace? It seems like you want artifact/creature recursion with some of the other cards you've put in

@mitchellx7

Often enough. Try to counter whatever hate they through at you. Mono-White has an answer to almost everything.

@Archetype_Of_Awesomeness

Godsend is in my deck. It was added when Journey into Nyx came out and it's amazing.

@NateJH

Caged Sun is the most beneficial of the mana doublers. It's one-sided and also produces extra mana off of nonbasics.

Extraplanar Lens needs to imprint a land, which hurts when you have a low amount of basics. Gauntlet of Power affects all players.

I'm curious- What are your thoughts on Armageddon, both playing with it and against it? It seems like something that must have been suggested countless times for a deck like this, since Eight-and-a-Half-Tails can protect itself from removal in response to Armageddon. Perhaps you don't think it's that good in this deck? Or maybe you just don't like to play EDH that way? Whatever the case may be, I'd love to have a discussion about that card.

@KillDatBUG

Armageddon, and mass land destruction in general, is mostly win-more IMO. There's no practical use of blowing up everyone's land beyond sealing a winnable position and maybe slowing down heavy land-ramp strategies. Outside of that, mass land destruction just sours the game.

I did use Armageddon and other mass land destruction way back when the deck was first built, but eventually dropped them as they sat in my hand most games. My meta doesn't really use mass land destruction. I almost never see any played against me.

April 23, 2015 11:06 a.m.

First time I've ever seen anyone try to knock Caged Sun... How come you don't run the other two mentioned? Ramp is so important in EDH, I'd think you'd be running them all, even with the low avg CMC, i'd think it would still make your deck better...

NensouHiebara says... #21

@garrettlstewart

I used to run Extraplanar Lens, but when I dropped down to 20 Plains, my mana became a little inconsistent. I have since then added more basic land ramp so Lens could come back if I ever find a spot for it.

I have no interest in Gauntlet of Power. Caged Sun pretty much outclasses it and I don't want both.

Adding extraplanar lens AND strata scythe really cuts down on your lands

What u think about this card? Indomitable Archangel

April 24, 2015 8:35 p.m.

NensouHiebara says... #24

@HerrDunk

Extraplanar Lens only hurts if you're consistently getting basic-screwed, which is why I initially dropped it.

Strata Scythe doesn't really hurt mana bases, since its imprint ability is getting the land from your library.

@wiciu5

I've used Indomitable Archangel before and I dislike it. The metalcraft requirement on it is terrible when cards like Leonin Abunas and Fountain Watch exist.

I was wondering why Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite isn't in the maybeboard? I can't find a spot for it to fit into the main board, but I would think it's good enough for the maybeboard? Is it too expensive?
