Had Mana Vault in the deck before. I dropped it because it acted more like a colouress Dark Ritual than a mana rock and not untapping normally when mana screwed sucked. I also needed space and I figured two insane mana rocks were enough.

have you thought about Kor Duelist ? He works nicely with Quietus Spike

I'm not fond of Kor Duelist , or any other creatures with similar abilities, in Commander. They're are what I call "Equipment-hogs". They 'hog' Equipment from Kemba, who needs them most.
"Equipment-hogs" are overdependent on Equipment. Without them, they're just a bunch of weak, vanilla creatures. Not what I want to be using.

This looks really good. The only suggestion I have is Armored Ascension .

I'm not using Auras. I don't have the space in the deck nor the desire to have them.

This is just my opinion but if you're not running tokens/equipment with Kemba, then a good portion of prospective synergy for your deck and a part of her ability is being wasted. But seems like it works enough. +1

I choose not to use token for aggro for two reasons:
Cat token aggro is overdependent on Kemba. She draws a lot of hate, making her a prime target for spot removal. If she gets tucked or becomes too expensive to cast, it's makes it hard to amass an army of cats. Mono-White also isn't the best colour combination for a token deck.
Voltron is more efficient. It's easier to deal 21 Commander Damage than 40+. It's easier to play and equip a single creature than rebuild a token army after a sweeper.
Kemba's tokens aren't being completely wasted. Her ability builds board presence. Cat tokens stall my opponents' attacks and are fodder for forced sacrifice effects.
Token Kemba is just not what I want my deck to be.

Shame we can't +1 more than once. This is one of my favorite decks to playtest, and I'm very hardpressed to think of anyway possible to improve it. Keep up the good work!

Glad you like it.
On the topic on improvement, I'm planning on dropping Cataclysm and Divine Reckoning for Day of Judgment and Wrath of God . Too many deck in my meta are either Voltron or run a number of powerful creatures. Letting my opponents keep their best creature on the field has been backfiring too much.
I'm also testing Windborn Muse and Sunblast Angel in place of Transcendent Master and Angel of Serenity , respectively.

Mystifying Maze and Glaring Spotlight seem really good against the voltron decks

I'm already running Kor Haven and Maze of Ith . I don't need Mystifying Maze .
Glaring Spotlight is a bit narrow. Using up a slot just to hose hexproof doesn't seem worth it to me.
I currently don't have room for Aven Mindcensor . I'll put it in the Maybeboard for now.

Mystifying Maze makes the enchantments and equipment fall off

With tokens being made, Phyrexian Altar and Ashnod's Altar can let you turn those tokens into more mana to equip more tokens onto Kemba, Kha Regent .

NensouHiebara says... #17
Mystifying Maze requires 4 mana to activate and is terrible against creatures with 'enters the battlefield' triggers.
I don't like running cards that are overdependent on Kemba being in play. No Kemba, no tokens. No tokens, the altars sit there and do nothing.

If that's the case, then maybe you should take a look into finding a commander that can do more for you. Kemba, Kha Regent is something that the deck should be built around, equipment and tokens alike. If you really don't want to rely on something like that, then take a look at other commanders who might work better for that kind of strategy and could potentially open up other colors for you. For example, Rasputin Dreamweaver gives you mana which you need to play equipment or the big creatures that you would rather have holding your equipment while also letting you look at blue cards for the deck as well.

I've looked at other mono-White Commanders and none of them fit the deck as well as Kemba. She's has a low cost and has an 'Equipment matters' ability. I can only wait for new options to be printed.
Adding another colour is not happening. It's too much of an endeavor that will end up altering over half the deck. I don't want to do that.

I thought you said you don't want to build around her token making ability? That's kinda the point of her interaction with equipment.
As you may already know, the only way to get rid of the commander (which is the only justifiable reason for not wanting cards that depend on her) is to shuffle it back into the library. Rather than try to build your deck in a sub-optimal way to prevent this from being as devastating, why not put in cards that can search for Kemba, Kha Regent in your colors? For example, for four mana, Skyship Weatherlight can bring kemba into your command zone again. Alternatively, for eight mana, it can put her into your hand.
Don't be afraid of over-dependence. Be afraid of the intimidation of what your opponents COULD/MIGHT POSSIBLY have over true synergistic deck-building.
If you want your deck to improve, either build around your commander completely, or get a new commander.

As somebody who plays against this deck, I have to say you're quite off the mark mstancea. This deck is quite effective, he's actually pretty high up in points at the local Commander League, which is semi-competitive. You obviously don't know what you're talking about. It's really quite amusing.

NensouHiebara says... #22
I don't build around Kemba's ability, but it is an incentive to play her over all other Commanders. She offers a relevant bonus when equipped. Most other Commanders don't have that luxury.
I built my deck so that it's able to function without Kemba in case she ever becomes unavailable. Having to be dependent on her for a token army makes an opponent's removal all the more painful than it already is. Kemba is a removal magnet and building an army from her can be an absolute chore. Also, token support takes up deck space.
I'm not afraid over-dependence, I'm afraid of how glass cannon-esque the deck becomes because of it. I'd rather not have my deck fold to a single, well-timed action. A Commander is best has a cog in the machine, not the only key that activates it.
As for choosing another Commander, I'm weighing my options. Akroma, Angel of Wrath would be the only one I would bother trying out, but her mana cost may end up as a deal breaker. I am not adding another colour.
Don't imply that not using Kemba to fuel token strategies is a reason my deck needs improvement.

Skyfolk?!?! correction: you play against players, not decks. A good deck in the hands of a bad player means nothing...
NensouHiebara, while I do admit that this deck is really great, I live by the saying that there's always room for improvement.
And I agree with you, helping out your cat tokens is not the right direction to go. However, Ashnod's Altar is, in my opinion, a card that can make this deck even better. But, I am but a critic who judges the work of a chef simply by looking at his food....
June 3, 2013 11:48 p.m.
@mstancea Would it be credible that the player that Skyfolk is referring to just so happens to be NensouHiebara?
June 4, 2013 1:49 a.m.
Yeah, I actually play against NensouHiebara and Mewgle in person. The deck works perfectly fine in the hands of a good player, which NensouHiebara is.
Seriously though, your criticisms are based in... Nothing.

@AzrielBarakiel
Did you mean Sublime Archangel ? It was in the deck before. I don't cast Kemba unless I have a way of protecting her. No Kemba, no tokens. Sublime Archangel was cut because I don't consistently have a token army for it.
There's one major issue with Scourglass : it can only be activated during my upkeep. Because of that, it's a turn slow to wipe the board and is susceptible to removal.
