I also had my moments with Dawn of Hope that were a bit clunky.I would have it sit on the field without being able to activate either of its effects.

Will you switch Devoted Caretaker with the new revealed Giver of Runes?
May 23, 2019 1:18 p.m.
NensouHiebara says... #5
Devoted Caretaker is capable of protecting Equipment from removal spells. It's not going anywhere.
Swapping Mother of Runes is a possibility, if saving creatures from colorless removal is worth not being able to protect itself. Pro-Colourless is not something this deck can take full advantage of.
Unsure if I want to use all three.

Winds of Abandon is essentially a Path to Exile / Plague Wind split card. Excellent removal option.
I don't like the new Sword. A +1/+1 counter is weak compared to the other Sword triggers and proliferate does almost nothing in this deck. Gonna pass on this one.

This almost feels like Cristmas, I really hope they finish the cycle of all 10 swords in this set.
The
Sword of Truth and Justice
will be great
Atraxa
tho.
I personally really like Giver of Runes , because she helps you protecting your voltron creature until it is fully equipt, and even then she can help getting damage trough by making it unblockable. I think I would play 5 Mother of Runes if I could :P
Also what are your thoughts on
Ranger-Captain of Eos
?
He can not only tutor up
creatures
for
protection
and
Serra Ascendant
, but can also keep your opponents from playing boardwipes for a turn or act as a one turn
Grand Abolisher
. Also combos great with
Sun Titan
.

TCG-Player Oh god I completely forgot about Sun Titan with that thing!

This deck doesn't really have a diverse pool of 1-drops to tutor for, and that fact has kept the original Ranger from being effective. Ranger-Captain of Eos is in the same boat.

Used Godsend before. Took it out for Blackblade.
Coloured Equipment don't play well with protection from White. Future coloured Equipment will have to offer something amazing for me to look past the awkward situations they cause.

Cavalier of Dawn -
Creature - Elemental, Knight (4/6)
Vigilance
When Cavalier of Dawn enters the battlefield, destroy up to one target nonland permanent. Its controller creates a 3/3 colorless Golem artifact creature token.
When Cavalier of Dawn dies, return target artifact or enchantment card from your graveyard to your hand.
New card from Core set 2020. Any thoughts?

I like it. Removal and recursion on a large, vigilant body for 5 mana looks great.

Uhh, wow, holy shit... Balan is going to abuse the hell outta this. It's like Christmas in July.

This card is truly hilarious, but it kinda sucks that it basically only works with Balan , Heavenly Blademaster and Puresteel Paladin (or Armory Automaton ).

TCG-Player There are definitely other ways of working around that equip cost though!
However...
NensouHiebara did turn down Ogre's Cleaver for the similar reason of a high equip cost, but Colossus Hammer has the difference of making Balan, Wandering Knight a one-shot kill when also equipped with literally any other equipment in the deck. NensouHiebara made a similar argument for Inquisitor's Flail (which made the cut, but understandably has more reasonable costs).
I would play test the Colossus Hammer by removing the Basilisk Collar . First strike and deathtouch seems nice, but no power boost just lengthens games. Colossus Hammer will end games faster and seems like the closest thing to an Eldrazi Conscription equipments will get

What you think of the other cost 0 mana rocks? Like mox opal and diamond etc etc.
July 12, 2019 4:19 p.m.
NensouHiebara says... #22
I judge Moxen based on how capable they are in the early game, especially for casting Balan on Turn 3:
- Mox Diamond requires a land to discard. It's the tamest downside of all of them. The first one I'd consider.
- Chrome Mox requires a coloured card to imprint. Could exile something important more often than not. Distant second if I really wanted another Mox.
- Mox Opal requires metalcraft. If I have an artifact-light opener, it can't do anything. Maybe better than Chrome.
- Mox Amber requires a coloured Legend. This deck has a measly three in the 99, and only one of them could have it active early enough to matter. Worthless.
- Mox Tantalite requires being suspended. It comes off suspend on Turn 4 at the earliest, and becomes a dead draw very quick. Hot garbage.

I see, i am running currently mox diamond and mox opal due to my high artifact count apart from mana crypt obviously.

What do you think about Gods Willing as an instant for this deck ?
July 16, 2019 5:45 p.m.
Hey! I'm curious what power level your playgroup plays at? I love mono-white but I feel like it's just a little bit too slow to beat things like Derevi Prison or Daretti Artifacts.

Now that Automaton is off, any thoughts on Indomitable Archangel ??
Also I'd like to ask how Dawn of Hope is running for you, I found that to be super clunky
