IHATENAMES Knew I was missing something. Its nice but lacking the key mana up from pod. I think if their was a slot for a Pod option fiddlebender would be better imo.

Rebuff the Wicked > Argentum Armor - AA costs too much to cast and equip. Buff is whatever and exile is nice but not really needed. Rather than having a 6 drop equipment, even if you commander allows you to bypass costs, wouldn't you be better served with additional protection (for 1 mana) rather than un-needed redundancy?
One of the few, good mono white decks I've seen.

Sweet deck! Any deck that runs Mana Tithe is an auto upvote for me, and I love me some mono white equip. Btw, how did you do these transparent text boxes? So cool!

Argentum Armor is the best Equipment to take advantage of effects that dodge costs. I almost never pay for the full 12 mana for it up front.
It's enormous P/T boost and destruction trigger have kept it relevant for over a decade, and I don't see that ever changing. The more cards that get printed that dodge costs, the better it becomes.
I have a CSS file on a Google Drive altering this page.

Any thoughts on Deep Gnome Terramancer? This card has felt like an absolute monster every time I've played or played against it, and the number of Plains cards you run should be plenty to support it. It also has the marginal value of being a flash creature that you can put in on end step and load some equipment onto for a sneaky win.

I don't like that the ramp is tied to opponents performing a very specific game action. I have zero control over when I get additional Plains and, at least for me, it will often be a dud against non-Green opponents.
I'm constantly dissatisfied at the recent attempts to give White ramp. I hate having to jump through hoops for worse and/or inconsistent effects. I don't understand why they keep making these awkward ramp effects at the same time as vastly superior colourless sources.

IMO must includes for draw, control, and a bit of ramp Grappling Hook, Angel of Condemnation, Endless Atlas, Darksteel Mutation, Empowered Autogenerator, Steel Hellkite.
Here are a list of unblockable artifacts that smooth out any voltron play Hot Soup, Prowler's Helm, Whispersilk Cloak, Suspicious Bookcase, Rogue's Passage, Trailblazer's Boots, Manifold Key, Key to the City.

@NensouHiebara - Just wanted to let you know that I pulled both Sword of Forge and Frontier as well as Kemba, Kha Enduring in my prerelease, and proceeded to take the whole event down. The 2 times I was able to get in a hit with the sword, I cleared off 2 lands from the top of my deck, and was able to play them both as I hadn't played a land for turn yet either time. I know it's not as great as other swords, but I think it will make it into my equipment voltron deck since you can never have too much card draw and ramp in commander.
Even though my equipment deck isn't cat tribal, Kemba being a lord for equipped creatures makes it a consideration. I've found that often I like to equip a cheap creature with early equips like Sword of the Animist to start ramping or getting the effects of other swords, and the free early equip is attractive for that purpose. It might not make the cut, but I'm going to try it out. However, after this set I'm really considering going WR since they seem to force all the good 'equipment matters' cards into Boros colors. Lots of EDH playables in the new set for WR it seems.

I am going to ignore that you considered giving up on mono white lol.
Thoughts on Skrelv, Defector Mite? It feels like a third mother? I would probably replace Devoted Caretaker. Yes, caretaker can block, has 1 greater toughness, and can actually target itself/any permanent, but Skrelv granting unblockability to our sword-wearing attackers!? So hard to pass up.
Yes, pro instants and sorceries for creatures can be better than hexproof sometimes, but hexproof covers the best benefit of avoiding any targeted creature removal. Having an alternative of paying 2 life rather than the cost of a white cannot go unseen.
I know you do not like poison counters, but you may see them more in your meta anyway with the new set Phyrexia: All Will Be One, and toxic looks like a very fair version of infect. I can see Skrelv getting in a few hits if drawn early. Imagine Skrelv getting vigilance, attacking with him and another creature, and activating Skrelv’s ability before blocks so you have two toxic creatures attacking. Luckily for us, toxic works well with double strike. Flip
You can say Skrelv’s artifact typing becomes a downside in comparison, but these examples actually makes it beneficial.

Thoughts on Vexilus Praetor? Protection from everything seems cool. Not sure what I would cut. He provides protection and unblockability, but only to your commander. Not a ton of synergy since it isn’t a equipment and not as tutorable since it isn’t even an artifact either. It itself has no evasion, just vigilance. Flash can save the commander in an instant, but 4 mana does seem like a lot.

@gzusvictory- My Voltron deck isn't mono-white to begin with, but there are so few good equipment decks on this site, I like to follow them for any inspiration I can get. Take a look.

Armory Automaton can help Halvar Flip with something he desperately needs: avoiding equip costs. If Armory Automaton gathers your unequipped equipment, it will fill Halvar’s Flip requirement of moving equipped equipment for free since the unquipped equipment has now became equipped to a creature. Halvar Flip giving Armory Automaton double strike also helps too!

Just drew two Helm of the Host and thought it would work best in voltron decks that utilize lots of free equip creatures. Just wondering how it might benefit this deck if at all.

So, what's on the chopping board for the new sword? I'm thinking Flail or Blackblade, both are excellent bits of equipment but in my opinion the sword is better.

gzusvictory says... #18
Inquisitor's Flail looks TOO good to cut. You can literally attach that to our commander along with ANY equipment that gives at least +2 power to make every attack become lethal if unblocked. Blackblade Reforged on the other hand consists of raw power at a reasonable equip cost (to legendaries), but does not add much utility to the deck (like card draw, evasiveness, or protection). I would agree that this looks like the next possible cut for the deck.

The final sword has finally shown up in all its glory! It looks playable!:
Name:Sword of Once and Future Mana Cost: {3} Type: Artifact Subtype: Equipment Equipped creature gets +2/+2 and has protection from blue and from black. When equipped creature deals combat damage to a player, surveil 2. Then you may cast an instant or sorcery from your graveyard without paying its mana cost. If that spell would be put into your graveyard, exile it instead. Equip {2}

Forge Anew will definitely make the cut in my deck (which is turning RW now). It's 3 cards in 1! - Part Bruenor Battlehammer, part Leonin Shikari, and part arguably-better Buried Ruin. I'm uncertain if the other 2 will ultimately make the cut for me, but I'll take any equipment support I can get!
