Part of my Elder Dragon deck challenge - focused on telling Chromium's narrative and exploring his themes.

I've focused on a theme of Human/Changeling/Shapeshifter Typal / Voltron, and curiousity themed card draw. A lot of the interaction is based on type changing/ typal based board wipes.

Chromium Partner to Piru, with shapeshifting powers. He was long and sleek, his scales had a metallic sheen, and he had confident and curious nature. With Piru, he was father to Crosis (shriek of dread). Chromium and his life partner Piru (Blackblade Reforged :( ) eventually became servants of the planeswalker Geyadrone Dihada. (Dihada's Ploy)

One day they were summoned by her to fight Dakkon Blackblade (dakkon, shadow slayer). Chromium once again pledged allegiance to a planeswalker, this time to Faralyn. In his service, Chromium befriended the planeswalker's spellsquire, Ravidel.

He was seen in human form as "Ham, the Tickery Man" (token), and was a member of the High Council of Mors Ridge who was in charge of casting the "tickery" spell, making sure his sister Palladia remained sleeping beneath Mors Ridge to keep her from attacking humans. As the Shard of the Twelve Worlds closed, Chromium was caught inside it. (Calamity's Wake) Chromium was killed by Tevesh Szat at the end of the Ice Age. (planeswalker's scorn, vow of torment)

This spell can't be countered. Flying Discard a card: Until end of turn, Chromium, the Mutable becomes a Human with base power and toughness 1/1, loses all abilities, and gains hexproof. It can't be blocked this turn.

"HAS" will be lost, "GETS" will continue after type changed in the layers once Chromium is changed.
