Trying out the new Knights deck in monowhite - the maybeboard are thoughts if i splashed red.

I am in love with Throne of Eldrain! A Vorthos to my core, and a lover of fairytales in all their forms, every spoiler has me creating a new deck in inspiration, proxying them out, and testing them relentlessly.

Knight tribal is an interesting thing. Knights more than any other tribe seem to create other things - soldiers, humans . . . and often their effects spread to the whole team. Still, a few effects care exclusively about Knights and so we've stuck to the tribe here as much as possible.

Venerable Knight our oldest member, is also one of our best. A Savannah lion with an upside, this guy hits hard and fast and doesn't mind dying.

Acclaimed Contender searches for most things we care about, and serves as the next best thing to card draw in the deck, and for a decent body as well.

Worthy Knight is worthy indeed.

I'm trying out Twinblade Paladin and haven't totally been won over - she costs a lot and often doesn't feel like she does enough by the time she hits.

Cavalier of Dawn absolutely makes the splash for the mana cost.

In this deck I chose to think of the adventures as instants and sorceries with a potential upside. Giant Killer is a conditional removal spell that I would have included anyway. Faerie guidmother is a much needed flying combat trick. Ardenvale Tactician is the only one that spans the gap.

Syr Alin, the Lion's Claw - ah Syr Alin - I haven't really seen him prove himself yet, but I believe as a one of he earns his place here.

splashing red gives us a number of good options - and might just be worth it

Embereth Shieldbreaker

I haven't tested it yet, but am interested in how it plays.
