Blighted Woodland might be a good one or 2 of in the deck because it thins out and ramps you even on your opponents turn.

Me neither. One more day... Also, this deck is getting cluttered with comments.

See if I pull a foil full art land...I'm going to be so happy. I've also preordered a fat pack! :D

I pulled a foil Shrine of the Forsaken Gods, Sire of Stagnation, foil prerelease Undergrowth Champion and two Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hungers at the prerelease. i decided to go U/B Eldrazi Control and Devoid. I did 3-3. In all matches I lost I did 1-2.

Oh yeh and there was a fun turn 6 and 7 combo that won me the game with Shrine of the Forsaken Gods, Conduit of Ruin then search for Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger. Then next turn play Coralhelm Guide, give Ulamog unblock able and swing for the win.

Leo7, I don't think this is the right place to be discussing how you did at the prerelease.

Beastcaller Savant screams goodness for this deck.

TheAlexGnan, thank you, but you clearly didn't see the 9 Ulamogs in there. As for Sanctum of Ugin, it would make my Eldrazi harder to cast, actually, because I don't want my land to die when I need it to cast Ulamog. With this deck, if you just played an Eldrazi with CMC 7 or more, and you need to search up another, you are doing something wrong. And I want to keep my functional Ulamog count under 10.

Thanks, your comment was helpful even if it turned out to be ultimately useless in terms of changes to the deck. If I may ask your opinion, what do you think of Vile Aggregate in the sideboard against Landfall? Should I do a 2/2 split of him and Tide Drifter, or just 4 of one of them?

September 29, 2015 12:34 p.m.

Yeah, that's what I thought. But Vile Aggregate not being useless when I have gained the advantage is appealing too.

September 29, 2015 12:49 p.m.

It could go into the SB against Abzan I suppose.

Your deck looks nice and intimidating, perfect for an Eldrazi themed deck.

Like one of the other comments mentioned, I'm a bit concerned that we lose a lot of momentum when people kill Rattleclaw Mystic before Kiora gets to do her thing. I'm trying to get around this in my The Dream Team(...ur) deck with Oblivion Sower stealing their tasty lands as well.

Looks solid, though!

I think Ali Antrazi's version is pretty good. He doesn't use mana dorks and instead uses ramp spells so that he doesn't have to worry about his ramp dying. Sub the mana dorks for Explosive Vegetation, Nissa's Pilgrimage, and use cards like Radiant Flames to survive the early game.

What if I like creatures and and don't want to build Ali Antrazi's deck?

Not saying you have to, or even should, I just liked that concept and strategy as an alternative take on ramp decks. His is five colors and runs cards like Catacomb Sifter and Oblivion Sower so yours is no where near his and Im not saying it has to be. It was just a suggestion.

Sorry, thanks, though. Your comment read to me like it implied I should.
