This deck is a colorless () shell, embracing the Eldrazi Kindred spells alongside some zero cost creatures.

Cheerios are good for your Cholesterol

This deck is a build meant to capitalize on casting - cost spells with ease, and using those corresponding resources to run away with the game as early as turn .

We focus most of our efforts by going through Glaring Fleshraker as a synergistic Keystone, vital to the construction of the deck.

"..What a folly to dread the thought of throwing away life at once, and yet have no regard for throwing it away by (bits) and pieces.."

- John Howe

Eldrazi Winter

This deck is essentially my shot at what an Eldrazi focused nuclear strike should be comprised of. It's not the flashiest of decks but it has a peculiar angle that I am aiming to strike at.

Historically, Eldrazi Winter decks focused on spells that were notably on a higher Mana curve. That was why Eye of Uginfoil was banned; it allowed you to play such oppressive spells with no consequence. It "pushed the curve" back and allowed these powerhouses to do the work.

My intention is to flavorfully screw the opposition by ruining the game, starting on turn zero. I'll detail the steps in the next tab but we start with Devourer of Destiny.

*..the advance of science spares us from irrational dread.."

- Martin Rees

You Are Already Dead

There was some discussion prior to the full spoilers of Modern Horizons 3 (MH3) that a resurgence of Chalice of the Void could take place and I'm here to show you how.

Holding up mana otherwise historically has meant very little, but we have access to new utility spells.

  • Turn is when we're slamming a Eldrazi Temple, and casting out our Glaring Fleshraker which is the prima-ballerina of all Eldrazi drones. Use your spare Mana from Ugin's Labyrinth (and don't mistake your Mana usage, remember; Temple first.) In order to cast out a Springleaf Drum, which after some zero drops happen will net us extra fodder through Scions.

-Turn is our first opportunity to be explosive about our delivery, and if we choose to use all of our built up resources to swing out, there's a good chance we could win it. I've pre-built some utility into the list with Kozilek's Command and Spatial Contortion, Warping Wail, also see sideboard.

the Titans from this set have seen some grief online but I'm really excited about all three of them. They're tight!

Smuggler's Copter provides us with a secret way to capitalize on mana

Turn your stockpile of fodder scions from Glaring Fleshraker into lethal damage with an anthem effect and a fresh hand of cards

that last bit of damage is where most opponents realize they have to start fighting back with everything they have.. and that's when a well placed Ulamog has always been my favorite way to swing in for the most Savage victories.

  • first big update since the construction was first tested, and it seems that Chalice of the Void has more legs as a sideboard card, rather than mainboard appeal. Although, I must admit the idea of throwing a hissy fit in colorless by using Chalice rather than just playing better removal is beyond funny to me.

So, the newest iteration following that is based on commentary from NoobNoob275. The roots of a good Affinity draw on cantrips; so if we use Chromatic Star, Chromatic Sphere, and Mishra's Bauble.

  • All of these (aforementioned) help push through our deck, dealing damage and providing Eldrazi Scions. The presence of Glaring Fleshraker will make all the difference.

  • you'll retain plenty of filter possibilities with cards like Paradise Mantle, Sphere, Star, Springleaf Drum, etc. In order to cast Nulldrifter.

  • The most important thing about the restructuring of the list was shelling out the space for Deserted Temple. It's what's helped balance out the reliability of the other lands, and push their utility over the edge.

I.e., un-tapping your Ugin's Labyrinth to make a Karnstruct from Urza's Saga.

I.e., un-tapping your Urza's Saga to make ANOTHER karnstruct.

  • there's a good chance we're surprised by the efficacy of this one. Enjoy!

My intention is to be open and engaging withother users about this list because I'm very excited about its practicality. I think it stands to shake up the meta, and I will likely need some assistance and revision to adjust accordingly.
