A "Commander Masters" Precon, this rare precon is about the other strangest hive-mind creatures within the Multiverse; The Eldrazi.

The deck's face commanders, Zhulodok, Void Gorger, is a powerful member of the Ulamog lineage of Eldrazi (though Ulamog themselves doesn't appear in this precon). By having this Eldrazi sitting on your field, any spell you cast with a cost of or more will also perform a double Cascade! That's three spells for the price of 1! And with 15 cards that fit the bill, your opponents are going to make Zhulodok target number one.

Better give them your Lightning Greaves. Though where would they wear them?

The first back-up commander is Omarthis, Ghostfire Initiate. A legendary Ghostfire Warrior from the Jeskai Clan on Tarkir, they grow more and more powerful every time you put +1/+1 counters on your colourless creatures. Then, once they depart this life, they manifest cards from the top of your library equal to their power! A board of hidden threats await your enemies, just waiting to be uncovered.

Although few creatures in this precon care about counters, several lands will grant your creatures a +1/+1 counter the turn they come in, so make sure to tap your mana correctly.

The second back-up commander for the deck is the Kozilek, the Great Distortion. The classic Eldrazi commander and one of the Eldrazi Titans, Kozilek allows you to counter spells just by discarding cards with the same mana value, so you better make sure your threat assessment is on point. Luckily, Kozilek will re-fill your hand to a full grip of seven cards when you cast them so you'll always be at full power the turn you cast them.

players rejoice, as there are plenty of new toys made almost exclusively for you in this precon. Two of them are Abstruse Archaic and Flayer of Loyalties. The first will allow you to copy the abilities from colourless sources for maximum value, whilst the second steals an opponent's creature and turns it into a giant Eldrazi for your turn! Imagine the two of these working together!

Another crazy combo built into this precon with their new cards is Skittering Cicada and Darksteel Monolith. Although the Cicada only allows you to cast colourless spells at flash speed, how often are you going to hold up 7 or more mana? The answer is: you don't have to, as the Monolith will allow you cast them from your hand for . That's right, ! Free Flash-speed Eldrazi? Sign me up!

Effective removal is also offered some new hotness. Calamity of the Titans allows you to any creature and planeswalker on the board with a mana cost lower than a colourless creature's mana value in your hand (though considering the curve of your deck, this will almost be every creature!). Desecrate Reality comes next, allowing you to exile an even-costed permanent (not nonland permanent, just straight permanent) for each opponent, then allows you to return an odd permanent from your graveyard. Sweet effective removal.

The Eldrazi weren't the only creatures to utilise mana. Ugin's Mastery shows the hidden depths that can offer. By manifesting the top card of your library whenever you cast a colourless creature, you could cheat huge creatures onto the battlefield with your opponents being none the wiser. That is, until you flip it face up and swing at them with a It That Betrays that will start tearing their board apart.

Finally, wield the full power of the Eldrazi Titans with Rise of the Eldrazi. With Ulamog destroying a permanent, Kozilek drawing you four cards and Emrakul letting you take an extra turn, forget your enemies, the whole plane will be wiped out! And your opponents will be unable to stop you because this spell can't be countered!

Truely, it will be their end days.

Although this deck has several high-end reprints, such as It That Betrays and Kozilek, the Great Distortion, they alone are not the precon's biggest draw...

As a rare precon, it is one of the few chances Wizards of the Coast has to reprint the elusive Wastes basic land. Whilst most basics sell for peanuts, this colourless land is always a few dollars, which stacks very quickly when you require multiple for a colourless deck. In addition to this, most utility lands tap for to prevent coloured decks from abusing them, however that negative is a positive here. The deck is full of useful utility lands reprints, ready to empower your colourless threats in a variety of ways. Whether you're cheating the life-drain of the War Room or trying to complete a full set of Urza's lands (Urza's Mine, Urza's Power Plant, Urza's Tower), the land package provide here is outstanding when compared to your average precon.

Unfortunely, between the high-price Eldrazi and the elusive Wastes basics, this precon has become the most expensive precon to date. Will the high price drive the customers away? Or will this product fly off the shelf faster than an elf at Christmas?

Overall, this deck is aimed at both the Battlecruiser players who just want to play big spells and swing with bigger creatures, as well as the collector, who gather the cards worth the big bucks for their personal collections.
