This is a midrange Izzet deck, that wants to make lots of elemental tokens and turn them sideways. Probably my most expensive, ambitious and all in deck I've tried to construct. The curve needs major work, as does the sideboard, let me know what you think in the comments!
Key cards:
Young Pyromancer : Solid 2 drop, allows early pressure to be applied to opponent, and adds a layer of gravy onto every instant or sorcery, in the form of building up board presence.
Frostburn Weird
: Again, early game pressure, but can also block exceptionally well. Very easy to cast, and has blue mana symbols.
Nivmagus Elemental
: Not much love for this card, which is sad. Good against control, as you can exile countered spells of the stack for counters before the counterspell resolves. Guaranteed turn 1 play.
Super Secret Tech: he's also an elemental!
Molten Birth
: More elemental love, helps get the elemental count to critical mass. can also be cast multiple times, which is fun : ). Can get out of hand with Young Pyromancer
Master of Waves : NOW we're cooking with fire >: ) . Should drop 2 or 3 elementals of his own if you have a nivmagus elemental or [[frostburn weird. Not only that, but he buffs all your other elementals too! Those 1/1s Young Pyromancer and
Molten Birth
were building up? Now bears. This should be enough to overwhelm your opponent on their own, but if they can't...
Teleportal
: A win condition if I ever saw one. With Master of Waves and this, even the smallest token in your amy is not only swinging for 3, but also connecting directly to your opponents face.
Welp thems the main cards behind the deck, the rest of the cards are just there to try and achieve the goal. What do you think?
