Your commander is mono green, so you aren't allowed to have red in this deck.

DAmieba I know Omnath, Locus of Mana is mono green, but Omnath, Locus of Rage (which has been spoiled for battle for zendikar) is RG. He is not in the TO system yet though.

There is a link in the description for an image of the card, thanks though!

Nice deck.
Lotus Cobra and Avenger of Zendikar, two awesome creatures with landfall.

I try on building an Omnath, Locus of Rage-deck, maybe even with an working Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle.

dersohndesgreifen If I had ways to bounce my lands, I would add Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle, but I have not seen any cards in that actually do that. I just don't have enough Mountains for Valakut to be effective. I am still wondering what to take out for Avenger of Zendikar, but I am adding Lotus Cobra in here.

1x Heart Warden -> 1x Lotus Cobra

Cloudstone Curio can bounce lands.

Yes! That is perfect for this deck, thank you hyperlocke :)

1x Abundant Growth -> 1x Cloudstone Curio

Maybe Elemental Bond, Burgeoning, Silklash Spider and Sakura-Tribe Elder could be usefull, too.

September 3, 2015 1:24 p.m.

dersohndesgreifen Elemental Bond (unless I have a token generator running) seems like more of a dead card, seeing as only 4 of my creatures (5 with Omnath, Locus of Rage) actually trigger the enchantment. I would rather have a card that is more independent so that I don't have to be completely reliant on my tokens/lands.

Burgeoning seems like it would be kind-of a dead card as well, especially late-game. Although I can see the potential in it and I can try it out.

Silklash Spider is definitely something that I would like in here for anti-flying.

Sakura-Tribe Elder Is a potential yes, but I am not sure what I would want to take out for it. I do have kind-of a sub-theme of druids in this deck for Gilt-Leaf Archdruid because it is a funny card :), but the elder is not a druid... :\

Shamanic Revelation is strictly a helluva lot better than Collective Unconscious.

Dig the deck though.

CastleSiege Crop Rotation is already in here, but I can see Nissa's Pilgrimage and Skyshroud Claim going in here. Again, Burgeoning seems good, but it would be more of a dead card, especially late-game (like I explained earlier). Kodama's Reach is basically a less expensive (price-wise) Cultivate, but I was contemplating taking out Cultivate for something else (probably the Skyshroud Claim or Nissa's Pilgrimage). I was actually playing against a guys earlier this week that was using Rites of Flourishing, and it basically killed him. I don't want my cards backfiring on me like that.

now, again with the stuff like Elemental Bond or whatever... I don't have enough creatures that would trigger it by themselves, so I would need one of my token generators to be active (which I can't always have). So instead, I have some potentially less powerful draw cards that can work more or less by themselves.

Now, some of these card I actually addressed in a previous comment... so yeah... just letting you know. Thanks for trying to help me out though :)

HonoraryFugu yup, I completely forgot about Shamanic Revelation when I was making this, good catch ;)

Sorry, I don't always read every single comment on a deck before I make suggestions. As for the first sentence in your description though:

"In this deck, you want lands. That is all you want and you want them fast. So I have quite a few cards in here that either get you lands, or allow you to play more of them."

I'm the kind of person who likes to build around their commander. Pretty much all of the cards I suggested will help you get lands into play faster, triggering your commander's ability more frequently, which in turn would also trigger things like Elemental Bond and Kavu Lair. As for something like Rites of Flourishing, I like political cards (this applies to Kavu Lair as well). Anything that helps my opponents a little bit in group games makes me less of a target. People are more willing to let me get away with things here and there because I played something that helped them.

I have a deck built around Titania, Protector of Argoth which you can check out here. It's a little bit similar to what Omnath, Locus of Rage does, just a lot more combo-y because of self-saccing lands. Still, it might be similar enough that you can get some ideas from it.

Also, I wouldn't strictly suggest cutting Cultivate for Nissa's Pilgrimage because cultivate can grab your mountains and forests, whereas pilgrimage can only grab forests.

September 7, 2015 9:06 p.m.

CastleSiege, thank you for taking a look at the description and figuring out the cards that would work best for this deck :)

I see why you wouldn't want to cut Cultivate for the pilgrimage, but cultivate always gets you two lands, whereas Nissa's Pilgrimage can get you three lands. I don't have troubles getting mana in this deck, in fact, with the few times I've play tested this deck, I have had some 20 lands on the field with 15 some-odd elementals by turn 8 pretty consistently. This also means that politicals are out the window, because I'm not wanting to give my opponents benefits if I'm growing that fast.

As for card draw, I dont want to be completely reliant on my commander for cards (even though he is a great token generator for those enchantments that you mentioned). If someone does actually figure out how to take my commander out of the equation, I still want to have some sort of way to win the game instead of being some Pacifismed player (I know Pacifism doesn't take out my commander)

At this point, I will most likely be trying to add some anthem affects along with ways to give my elementals trample because I hate how these 5/5's can be chumped so easily. Obelisk of Urd will most likely see play in this deck, however I don't want to be going to heavy on the artifacts since I do have a couple artifact board wipes in here.

Thanks CastleSiege for linking me your deck. It helped me kinda look at other possibilities for my deck :)
