Its boys club in this house.got the idea from this deck from Standard Elves: Believe it. (Back in business!). with a few game-changing edits.

first off, credits to zandi for his deck idea, perfect core deck and i had alot of fun playtesting it.

the changes i made are as follows: - 2 Champion of Lambholt, -1 Ezuri, Renegade Leader, -1 Increasing Savagery , -2 Beast Within

+2 Craterhoof Behemoth, +1 Revenge of the Hunted, +1 Green Sun's Zenith, +2 Garruk Relentless

the Champion of Lambholts are amazing, dont get me wrong. But after i threw the Craterhoof Behemoths in for them, the results were amazing. NOTHING is better than doing well over 20 trample damage turn 4 for the win.

in reguards to the Ezuri, Renegade Leader i took out: 4 of a legendary creature is just too annoying for me. simple as that. plus with all my deck search ability, obtaining on is not that difficult.

at first i really liked the Increasing Savagery , but after Revenge of the Hunted was released, i saw it as a better, more devastating version of the Increasing Savagery . not to mention it is practically a small scale green board wipe.

Beast Within is o.k. i didnt like the fact that i was giving them a 3/3 best, so i started searching for alternate ways of doing things. i felt that with the 2 Acidic Slimes mainboard and 2 Naturalizes sideboard, that that was plenty of removal of artifacts and enchantments and such, and with the added Green Sun's Zenith it made getting a Acidic Slime when i needed it that much easier. so in result, i threw in the Garruk Relentless  s. not only is there good spot removal, but on the flipside i can easily search for any win-condition card like Ezuri, Renegade Leader, Wurmcoil Engine, or my favorite Craterhoof Behemoth.

obvious win conditions are still the Elvish Archdruid ramping for the Ezuri, Renegade Leader, the Wurmcoil Engine TURN THREE (which i have done many times in the FNMs and it is aaammmaazziinngg), but the best of the best is getting that Craterhoof Behemoth out and before even calculating damage, my opponent is scooping their cards up. makes me giggle every time.

ideal Craterhoof Behemoth win is

T1- forest - Llanowar Elves

T1- forest - 2x Llanowar Elves

T1- forest - Elvish Archdruid, and any two drop, or two one drops.

T1- forest - tap archdruid for either 5 or 6 mana (depending on what you played turn 3) and 2-4 forest for Craterhoof Behemoth or Green Sun's Zenith for it.

all creatures getting +6/+6 or +7/+7 and all elves getting an additional +1/+1 from Elvish Archdruid EASILY swinging in for over 30 trample damage for win turn 4.

have done this plenty of times in casual games and only once at an FNM. and needless to say, people no longer snickered at my standard elves deck again.

have NOT been keeping tabs on FNM results, but know that i have played at 6 with this deck and have come in top 3 everytime, no questions asked.

outcome: 2nd place 3-1

round 1 - ANOTHER ELF DECK?!?!

a buddy of mine from that shop took my decks idea but twisted it by splashing white. didnt work out to well and blew him up

round 2 - wolf run ramp

this one was actually quite a challenge. partially because he splashed white and kept o-ringing my archdruid, but my aggro knocked him out before he could even get anything of threat out.

game one he almost had me with the Inkmoth Nexus but my Green Sun's Zenith for mainboard Acidic Slime took care of that.

round 3 - delver -_-

i hate dever

was able to beat him 2-0 out of pure good luck hands and aggro, and the sideboard Eaten by Spiders took care of a resto angel with a war and peace on it!! woop!

round 4 - red green aggro

this is my friend that i've been staying with lately so this round was just like one of our games at home.

this matchup is pretty often a 50/50 chance of winning,a nd that usually depends on if he burns my archdruids or bonfires. sadly this game i got some pretty bad hands and had to mulligan to 5 the last two games, so needless to say i lost 1-2, BUT, i did get a good turn 4 win game one with Craterhoof Behemoth
